Invulnerable ults.

Of course I'm talking about Trynd's ult, Kayle's ult, Aatrox's passive here but they seriously need to go. Riot talks about how they want to remove 'silences'? Then they need to also remove invulnerability ults and passives to better and further balance the game. If those ults provided damage reduction I'd understand but outright giving the champions an invulnerability is unacceptable if Riot intends to remove silences, also. Which, by the way, ruined kits like LB and Talon and these changes I'm discussing WOULD ruin the three aforementioned champions. But hey, don't preach balance and not truly balance the game.

Aatrox's passive isn't really the same as the first two, he can do nothing until he revives, while Tryn/Kayle can and will wreck your shit. That said it feels like they will never be balanced instead of strong/weak as long as those two have their ults.

Ults have at least a 30 second cool down. Silence abilities do(did) not.

Tryndamere is fairly balanced; due to the current state of power of Marksman, melee NEEDS to have some kind of damage negation skill such as: Alpha Strike, Wind Wall, Blade Waltz, or Undying Rage to even get close.

Kayle's shield is arguably the only useful mechanic she has in a team fight, plus it is unique and lasts only 3 seconds. Its effect is no different from GA or Zhonyas.

Aatrox's passive also gives him AS. When he loses all these bonuses from his blood well, he becomes severely gimped in combat potential. Even then, it has a fairly long cool down, and the enemy team can just pounce on him once the animation ends.

With each of these champions, it is also always an option to simply disengage. However, with Talon and LeBlanc, the only counter play is to not die from their burst. Talon's cut throat allows for absolutely no chance of counter act or escape, while he can cast his ult for further mobility. LeBlanc had two free flashes worked into her kit and a long range silence in addition to high burst.

If you think that any of these "victim" champions were over-zealously nerfed by removing their silences, well, I agree with you.

However, please don't even juxtapose these champions to Tryndamere or Kayle, they are not even remotely close to how powerful Talon and LB was.

But hey, don't preach balance and not truly balance the game.

And you have how many years of experience in creating games and setting up a balance that YOU dictate?

Kayles and tyrns ult are the only true invulnerability and they are ults with medium cooldown on them. Tyrn's ult only works on him self and you shouldn't be focusing him. anyways, he has ultra low health and putting ignite on him when his ult is almost over it will almost garentee his death. Kayles ult is by far better because it can go on the adc but it's only 3.5 seconds max rank and kayle has to time it just right as to counter an assassins ult so your just trading an ult for an ult if the enemy is smart enough they can just kill the mid laner while kayle ults the adc. Then go back onto the adc.

Also unstoppable ults. Ults should be cancellable by Lee Sin kicks cause "muh LCS Plays"

Don't preach balance to a company that's been doing this for 5 years longer than you have.

Silences were not the problem; otherwise, they would have removed Soraka's silence when they reworked her. They would be removing Cho'gath's, Malzahar's and Lulu's silences. Although I'm not surprised you didn't comprehend this initially, The problems with Kassadin, Leblanc and Talon having silences was the fact that they were all capable of pulling off their entire burst rotation before you could react, and the silence kept you from reacting during or after their rotations. They had no counter-play other than "Don't get silenced."

Tryndamere's Death Immunity, which is only invulnerability at 1 HP, lasts 5 seconds and only protects him from damage. Any CC will keep him from being able to use his invulnerability to deal DPS. Land one that lasts 2 seconds, he has 3 seconds to get the hell out or die horribly. It's even worse if anyone uses Ignite on him during the last 2 seconds.

Kayle's ultimate lasts 2-3 seconds. Yes, if she uses it properly, it can be a powerful defense tool. However, the moment you hear that very obvious sound, you CC the invulnerable one and switch to a different target. Also, you should force Kayle to choose between two targets; don't have the entire team focus on one specific enemy, have them pick two targets. Kayle has to save one and let the other die. And then, as before; CC invulnerable, kill the other, come back to them when the CC ends.

Invulnerability has counter-play if you think

leblanc is still good i played her right after her silence removal and i ended up carrying an entire game with her and talon has seen more competitive play without the silence and those big pros can kill other pros with talon so he is still good a 99% slow for .25 seconds is enough time to chain a cc off of the engage so i say that the silence removal was well compensated for talon

Proper crowd control will stop any Tryndamere in his tracks; they almost never have any answer for it. I love Whimsying a Tryndamere as Lulu when he thinks he can brute force us to death.
