No counter? check. Full crit? check. Can't heal off of him? check. Like its broken to have him live 5 seconds after death from level 6 on.....

Play Tryn for a day then come back and you'll see his weaknesses pretty quickly.

its more he wins lane with a lucky crit or two early game and people struggle after that

Lets be real... his ulti starts off at 5 seconds. That's a little bit insane, don't you think? I think it should scale like Kayle's ulti... Start off at 2 and scale to 5. Let there be a point for him to put points into his ulti... 2 seconds is still a long time.

Kayles ult can be used on others though, and actually prevents all dmg. Use trynd ultimate before he is low and it is being wasted. Generally talking about 1s plus that it is activated beforehand. That low would be useless, and you might as well not put a point in it until level 10.

You don't put any points in your ulti after lvl 6 until it's your last skill to max out anyways... An ultimate that game changing and having such a long active time is pretty cancer. Though I do understand he struggles in teamfights, it's pretty bad simply for the laning phase.

I'm saying at 2 seconds it wouldn't hardly be worth even 1 point at level 6.

And his ult is strong in lane, but he has no way to poke/harass, or to safely cs other than under tower if he is getting beaten. He also doesn't have any hard cc to make ganking for him easier.

His ulti isn't what needs reworking. He needs an entire relaunch, he's been pretty outdated even riot noted on.

It's just that there isn't really a direction that's plausible yet.

They COULD go a route where he applies a debuff like his wife and can auto crit on those units. Or like another suggestion, swap him and olaf's ulti then rework the rest of his kit. But since Tryn's entire thing is holding a big sword one-handed, RNG crits, slap harder, empower yourself and debuff the enemy, there really hasn't been any design they could pull the trigger on yet.

As for what you can do vs current tryn, buy ninja tabi and engage him when his fury is low and harass him. He can't win trades easily unless you give him time he needs to get fury.
