The math behind Veigar changes

I understand that people might rage at me, but I've been on the PBE for quite some time, so I'm going to post some understanding for the thoughts behind the polished Veigar.

Veigar is extremely good against assassin ** mages**: Ahri, Katarina, Akali, etc. He's not meant to nuke an ad assassin. Please keep that in mind when thinking about when and how to play Veigar.

1. Reverse Nasus, aka Baleful Strike - Increased range, shorter CD. His farming is much more smooth now at earlier levels allowing for a better AP level up. I don't see why anyone wouldn't like this polish. TLDR: Mmm q stacks

2. The Ring of Doom, aka Event Horizon- It now has a longer cast range. Let's face it, you had to get up close or be running away for it to be used effectively and yes, a good Veigar summoner always knew how to use the CD appropriately to punish anyone who got near. Now it has a longer range with a slight delay and a shorter CD. TLDR: it allows for -more- zone control because you can punish more often at a longer range than before. It still forces people to burn flashes.

3. Dark spot on the ground, aka Dark Matter- Less mana, less CD, more zoning power. If you ever decide that you really want to play Veigar against an AD, at least you can zone them out more appropriately and wander around the map. TLDR: Was that a short joke?

4. AP Orbital Nuke, aka Primordial Burst - Because Veigar can farm better, the AP ratio was lowered- his nuking power against AP targets remains slightly higher by level 8+, it has a MUCH lower mana cost and you can cast it a bit more often. TLDR: Furious ball of rage...

So what does this mean for people who love playing Veigar? You won't be a monstrous obscenity in ARAMs, but your nuking power in normals will be a lot more fun and give you tons more 'making plays' viability.

I would like to see his movement speed increased, along with a few other mages.. namely Zyra and Syndra. Once everything's been used, there should be a bit more cushion for getting away if someone can flash out of your only means of defense.
