My Dota 2 Win rate has improved since

i started to use the voice chat.

i don't use it to start a conversation but I use it to announce short informations like "on my way" "go" "back" "wait", just this and i still win more games. Because When people can hear your information it's better than looking at the chat, it's better than pings because people can't know if those pings are for them or for other allies. i really hope that Riot will give us one because it's nothing but positive things.

"but trolls will abuse it", you can also abuse the simple chat, and what do you do when people abuse it? you mute them.
