Jhin replaces Udyr as the pursuer, escapist champ in the game

All because of a stupid rune called Fleet Footwork.

It is pure cancer to see him run close to 700 MS every 5 second simply for auto attacking. What makes it worse is he can take sorcery for the scaling AD based on bonus MS and it becomes a got damn joke.

Remove this broken rune. It is the worst one designed in the game. Further amplified by how hard the mage equivalent one is to activate and the LONG ASS COOLDOWN.

I feel like that's a movie....like a recent Fate/ movie, maybe Grand Order(since there was a movie, i think.) or Apocrypha?

Im pretty sure Lancer was present as Caster class during grand order... In Apocrypha we had 2 different lancer. One trap and one impaling people. Hmmmm...

Yeah, it's from the reboot of Fate/stay night (2006 TV), named as Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014 TV).

Fate/stay night: UBW (2014) has 2 seasons with a combined 25 episodes while the 2006 version had 1 season of 24 episodes, and made by different studios. The story is also a bit different in terms of approach and a few things, given they're based off different 'routes' of the original visual novel source material.

**This action shot of Lancer is from the opening of the season 2 of Fate/stay night: UBW (2014), **often called as the "OP2" of Fate/stay night: UBW (2014) given each season only has 1 opening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yvMqox7c6A The Lancer action scene is at about 1:04 time stamp.

.....

You can use MyAnimeList (MAL) to trace any anime franchise for sequels, prequels, spin-offs, reboots, and all sort of stuff. Given sometimes larger franchise, such as things like Fate, is a bit of a mess to get through without proper guidance (you can ask those who're trying to get into Lupin III nowadays, oh boy).

This is the 2006 Fate/stay night: https://myanimelist.net/anime/356/Fate_stay_night This is the 2014 Fate/stay night: https://myanimelist.net/anime/22297/Fate_stay_night__Unlimited_Blade_Works

You can find each other from any of the 2 links by looking at the "Related Anime" section, where it properly lays out the connection between related titles. In the case of these 2 Fate/stay night, they're listed as "Alternative version" on each other's page. It's pretty handy.

.....

Also, since you're not aware of the Fate/stay night reboot, just in case you might not know, there is also a prequel series for the events predating those of Fate/stay night called the Fate/Zero, which you might also be interested in; Fate/Zero has 2 seasons released between 2011 and 2012, and was made by the same studio that has made the 2014 Fate/stay night: UBW reboot. You can also see Fate/Zero in the MAL of the Fate/stay night pages, listed under "Prequel" in the "Related Anime" section.

Please don't feel insulted if it seems like I'm making demeaning assumptions and making long-winded post for long-winded sake, that's not the intent.

Thx dude. I saw Fate/zero, Fate/Apocrypha and original Fate/stay but kinda completely missed reboot. I guess i saw announce but decided to ignore it cuz Fate/stay 2006 was waaay too awful and eventually forgot about it completely.

This. Even if you know its Fate its "a bit" hard to find exactly from where was that scene without actually checking them all one by one.

At least imho, I think the 2006 Fate/stay night had the best opening, or at least its opening 1 is king in my eyes.

Idk, I just have a personal liking for openings that "set the mood", which is unfortunately growing increasing rare as animation tech continues to evolve to allow easier access to flashier graphics so most openings are used these days as a chance to show off animation prowess either through saturated quirky style flashes or lightning fast action sequences, rather than setting a tone that may or may not be slow but surely lasting and memorable.

Made in Abyss is one of the few current anime that had opening that is for the most part, slow, for the viewers to sink into a scenery rather than an action sequence of sort which a lot of the anime openings now has an abundance of. Houseki no Kuni is also another anime that does the deliberate and slow opening, though mostly because the immaturity of the 3D anime which limits it and incentivises the animators to employ the "slow" approach to both get around the rough edges much like the earlier anime titles. But whatever the case, I deeply appreciate them for doing that again in the sea of super fast opening, which are cool as hell to watch for sure, but I don't feel them as memorable and impactful as some of the slower ones that really get into you.

I think the opening for Princess Principal, Drifters, or Yuru Camp, just to give an idea on the kind of pacing I'm talking about, are probably the maximum/cap pace to achieve both the fast pace vista and tone-setting properly without being too "populated" and losing out too much, if you're going fast. But that's me.

But hey. I'm derailing.

Nah, it was from the season 2 opening, or "OP2" as commonly called, of the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014 TV).

As an udyr main i can relate to this frustration, especially just mobility creep in general over these last two years.

HOWEVER I dont believe the rune is the problem but rather Jhin himself. He is just far too strong in the synergy he has with certain items that create situations where he is just fucking absurd. His passive needs to be changed or at the very least adjusted. He cant be running around at a perma 700 Mov speed whilist shooting 800+ damaging nukes every second, its ridiculous.

Jhin is one of the LAST ADCs you should be complaining about.

summoner 4 summoner 6 , monkeys agility and bear stance. You can stun him, you can flash on him. or run general fast. with item 3742 item 3078 you also should be fast. item 3800 could also be an option.
