Okay, so I just woke up so my thoughts might be a little scattered, but I was thinking about something. We've all been at that point where we're not 100% sure when we'll be demoted after a loss. Sometimes it's one loss, sometimes it's 3 or 4. I was in that spot twice yesterday. The first time was one game, the second time was 2.

Well I was just now thinking about how it could be if we had a demotion series. Like, once you hit 0 LP in your division, you automatically go into a demotion series where you have to win 2 out of 3 matches to stay in your division, and if you're being demoted across ranks (i.e. Gold 5 to silver 1) you would have to win 3 out 5, kinda like the promotion series.

I feel like this would add clarification on when you really need to pull it together to not get demoted. As well as give you a fairer chance at holding your spot.

I feel like that might just put unneeded pressure on someone who's already probably tilting from a long enough losing streak to be in a spot where they'll get demoted.
