How to play against Kat? Looking for help mid.

Really tired of loosing lane and feeding every 3rd world country each time I face her. What are some good counters or windows to counter attack her? I can never engage on her and she comes onto me if it turns out bad she is right back to her caster minions. I know my last game I tried playing before I realized she made it through bans, but I kinda knew I lost at champion select. Just wanting to find some weaknesses in her kit or item path anything to go even with her atleast.

stand on her daggers to keep her from picking them up

Ban her. Thats her counterplay same with vayne and twitch

try not running back its more like aurelion sol. The daggers land 350 units behind you and on her. So she will E on you walk away then make a 90° turn so the Q she throws will fall behind you and you will walk away from it then walk back to tower. So basicly dont walk back in a straight line just walk in a circle around the landing Q dagger. do that and she can only E you and use R which stil is enough dmg to kill you tho hahaha but basicly thats how you counter her just by walking ^^ I hope they nerf R dmg its dumb just make R land more daggers on the ground and deal 0 dmg that would be fun :) goodluck!

Pick a long range wave clear champ or someone with hard cc: Annie Anivia Cassiopeia Malzahar TwistedFate Velkoz Viktor Xerath Kennen Azir

Let her push on you. It's easy for her to get kills, but it takes both time and space. If you're close to your turret, she won't have the space to run you down, and the turret will kill her before she can kill you (if you're healthy). Spend some time there and wait out her lvl 3 "free first blood" power spike.

After first back, your wave clear should be quite strong. Just spam clear waves from a distance and retreat back to turret. If she freezes, she's not roaming, but you should be able to break a freeze if necessary.

She is strongest in lane. She's pretty trash in team fights unless her team can 4v5 long enough to kill her biggest threats or get your team low enough to clean up. Picking a super-strong team fight mage makes it hard for her to even participate.

Exhaust and build a negatron. I usually Almost never lose to Kat unless she's an outplaying machine.
