Fizz's Troll pole has too much in it, feels like old Thresh Q's.

Assassins like FizzFizz are meant to be annoying and super slippery but I really feel like he gets way too much from just leveling one skill. It feels like old Thresh Thresh Death Sentence where leveling it gave him lower cdr, and his charged up auto attack damage. There was just no reason to level anything else up first. But Fizz he gets tons of Damage from trollpole, lower escape on cooldown, wave clear and all in one. Shouldn't some that power be move around his kit?

Low cooldown, aoe damage, mobility and invincibility. Hmm seems balanced...

I think that lowering the damage from e is a good place to start.

We put this extra damage on. W, and make w splash ( cuz he a fish) so he can wave clear with it.

Like no one should have such a short cd high dmg mobility invincibility spell. By transferring power from e to his w, we still allow fizz to make splashy plays with his jump, it just does less dmg and now for optimal DPs he has to stay on his target with autos.

he either wave clears

uses it for damage

or escapes

he can't do all 3 at once

Probably the most overloaded ability this game has ever seen and that's saying much.

Fizz is underpowered right now, but this silver board wont quit complaining about him.

I dont even know why it does damage. His E should do 0 damage as he is busy dodging. Buff his Q W and R to compensate i dont care, but his E doing damage on the landing while dodging cc and attacks is too broken.

I don't get why people complain about Fizz E so much. If he uses it to damage you, guess what, he can't use it to escape. And if he uses it to escape he isn't winning trades with you unless you sit there with your mouth open doing nothing.

As someone who played alot fizz in the past, i can tell you that W gives far more kill potential unless you face hyoer squishy oponents. Between the on-hit and the dot, you gain alot more singletarget out of it if you use your AAs properly, which fizz should do in the early. It also helps a lot at csing for low mana. What most people don't see is that haveing all that stuff in one skill has alot of draw backs. If you have to use your E defensively, you loose most your damage early on if maxed first, same if you use it for waveclear, so you give openings where your opponend can preassure you, and if your use it agressive for the trade or all-in, you set your escape on cd so if you loose that trade you are screwed or if the jungler lurks around. If you max W, you can save your E till you really need it and trade/CS with Q+W. Also, the manacosts go up 15 per rank up to massive 130mana while fizz has a rather low manapool compared to mages like lux, so without blue your run into issues quite fast with E max. Also, the E is actually avoidable, especially running into fizz works well, as most fizz just double tap on maxrange. Q and W are point n click, no room for error.

Fizz's E is an overloaded ability, but the rest of his kit is so weak if his E didn't exist the way it does he wouldn't really be a viable champion. He's already not played much because his E just got nerfed and he was already susceptible to being shut down as a mid laner with no range and a horrible early game.

Wait.. wasn't thresh's E the ability that gave him stronger autos? Not his q?

Fizz's E is the pinnacle of elite assassin design. the only thing anyone can complain about is that it might have too much damage for such a versatile and exciting ability. unfortunately his other abilities including his passive, but besides his W, are all heavily in favor of supporting his main ability, his E (no creep block so better maneuverability, more mobility for setup through his Q, and an ult that amplifies its damage AND allows for a more accurate setup and target). so when his other abilities support such a strong non-ultimate ability they have to,theoretically, be so much weaker

thankfully the large majority of riots reworks seem pretty successful and popular, so im sure they're smart enough to not touch the main principles of his E, if not, keep those principles elsewhere in his kit (keeping his untargetable state, but maybe they'd push it to be its own ability or stick it on another that gives another effect or whatever). this is if hes changed a lot for the assassin rework
