Theres a good reason frozen mallet was kept unviable as a rush item in the past

It's because 'I landed one auto attack, now we fight to the death or you run away and take massive free damage' is bullshit to deal with in the top lane or jungle. You shouldn't ever be able to duel someone with on equal gold and levels if you only have one or two items completed and one of them is frozen mallet. It should give jack shit for combat stats or even make you deal reduced % damage after you have it built in exchange for its ridiculous ability to force people to fight you.

They have health and minor amounts of AD. They arent really going to be outdueling you super hard unless theyre a ranged champ to you being a melee, in which case youre at a disadvantage regardless of FM.

at that point, you're 40 min into the game, and everything you listed goes to the trash because there ain't "forced to fight" anymore.

Thing is with Rylais, not a lot of AP champs have skills they can keep spamming.

Frozen mallet on the other hand on gnar and other is just straight up bullshit because its on autos.

IMO id rather delete rylais still.
