Looking for actual counterplay to Lee Sin.

I don't mean counter picks. I mean legitimate ways to counter Lee Sin. I'd be grateful not to hear any Rank bashing as well. I just want to know how to shut the guy down. Then I can take that into practice. You only get 6 bans. He's going to show up every now and then whether I like it or not.

First rule: Ward, always keep an eye on your bushes Second rule: DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODGE Third rule: Lee Sin falls off late when everyone isn't so squishy. Fourth rule: Surround Lee. He won't be able to get his R off on all of you, and while he as Tempest + Cripple, he won't use it unless he also has enough energy to escape with Safeguard ward hop.

a good way is to use the wolf smite to full advantage, i know this only covers half of your jungle but its very useful to scout out if he is invading you. wards go very well with the wolf smite, the whole idea of lee sin is to be mobile and get around the map fast enough to provide pressure to any and all lanes no matter where you are on the map, so warding is a great way. of course you said no counter picks but poppy is the best counter to him in the jungle imo. thats what i have to offer from a d5 guy :/ best of luck otherwise

Thanks. Do you have any tips with Laning against him?

Dodging his Q? Wards? CC? playing a bit safer in lane when you're easy to gank?

Lee Sin is not complicated to counter, his counterplay is standard, there's a reason his win rate is 45% and it's not popularity.

That's so generic it doesn't even sound like a tips. If it was that easy to dodge skill shots what champion with skill shots would be a problem? Wards should be part of all games so I don't see how that stands out as a counter. Flat out telling me to CC is almost as bad as just telling me to dodge. He's not going to just hold still and let himself get hit with CC. And It's already been proven that Lee Sin won't care if your under Tower or not so I find it hard to call any position in lane safe from him.

Most of the best advice in the world is simple, don't dismiss it because it isn't as specific as you'd like.

Anyway group early. Play super safe and keep an eye on your jungle in case he invades. Don't fight unless you can quickly win( so he doesn't have time to roam and kill you). Honestly just don't take stupid risks.

Because he is a simple champion, everything in his kit has counterplay, you're just refusing to see it.
