Are we ever going to address Lissandra's passive?

Let's face it, it's just there to justify her Q mana cost, nothing else. There are so many possibilities for a new passive that I'm amazed you guys have never been able to settle on a new one. I don't care if you need to cut numbers for it, anything would be better than what we have.

Like, I once saw someone suggest she ignore movement penalties incurred by spells and autos. I honestly thought this could be interesting because her champion spotlight identified her as being very mobile and I think such a passive could emphasize this. Or an aura passive, which thematically would be pretty sound, like her mere presence being able to affect the surroundings in adverse ways. Really, the possibilities truly are endless.

So please Riot, make Lissandra great again. (Not too great though)

Speaking of shit passives, let's talk about Heimers garbage regen passive.

problem with giving her a new passive is shes already strong and balanced. Any buff would make her over the top.

No im not saying dont buff her, im just saying thats how riot is thinking atm

It doesn't have to be a buff, if they need to cut numbers or make kit adjustments, so be it. As long her playstyle of CC/initiator mage remains more or less the same but with a new, shiny and meaningful passive.

But why go through so much trouble to give her a new passive and balance around that new passive while at the same time having the intent that her playstyle will be basically the same?

This seems like a lot of effort when the goal is to fix what isn't broken.

I completely get where you're coming from and I actually agree that if a new passive causes too much problems, it's just not worth it. I just want something better for her, I really like the RoA builds on Liss because it suits my playstyle, and honestly once I get item 3010 I really have to question why I even have the passive in the first place. Then I remember her Q costs 85 mana and my base regen is atrocious for a mage, and it's all to justify the passive. So yeah, can you blame me for not wanting a change?

There was a rework that was worked on for her that worked sort of how it does now. It used to giver her increased defensive stats for ccing an enemy and I think that should be brought back. Lissandra spends a lot of her time right in the enemies face and she needs stats to back them up

I have mixed feelings on this to be honest, I really like the idea, but I feel it could mess with her playstyle and make her into this annoying fighter that just sticks to your face while throwing ice at you. Tank Liss essentially.

Yes, they said they know it needs work but said they have no plans on changing it any time soon.

I'm definitely on board for an aura passive, alongside cutting some numbers on the rest of her kit. Maybe a small percent cooldown increase for enemies? That seems a bit op but would be interesting.

Oh that reminds me of the Chill condition in GW2. Essentially, you're slowed and your CD's recharge 40% slower, the effect is represented by a blue frost tint on your character. The 40% isn't as OP as it sounds, every 1.66 seconds is now 1 second of cooldown time. Although, it probably would be broken in League, definitely sounds pretty interesting though.

Yeah, and an alternative could be an auto attack slow like the passive on frozen heart? Now THAT would be op in a teamfight. Maybe just 5% would be balanced though.

they would need to nerf other things because shes pretty balanced to say the least. i would say shes on the stronger side but not enough to nerf her

I honestly expected Riot to give her a better passive in the mage update, but I also expected Riot to give Kog a new passive in the Marksman update.
