Lmfao, you spam Yasuo and Zed and want to talk about toxic xD

You have the 2 biggest counters to mages in hexdrinker and Qss. If you don't build, then you're an idiot.

There is no such a thing as a mage counter, you don't know what you are talking about. The mage counter is something from S3, when Talon andKassadin were counters to mages, today? nope.

1 mage in the top 15 pick rate, 2 in the top 20.

If you aren't intelligent enough to understand numbers, then you probably shouldn't comment on them :). Anyway, I'm done answering your trollo threads. It's obvious you are trolling....or just too stupid.

You are not in my league, you are diamond 5 with 270 games played and a 52% winrate. I am diamond 4 with 99 games played anda 71% win rate.

Once again, smaller sample space. make the same comparison after you've played 270 games.

And I presume YOU, sir are the toxic one. Champions aren't toxic. People are. And given your responses to non-diamond players, my guess is you're probably toxic in game. You think you're better than anyone else because you're diamond. Ok. So maybe you are, but it doesn't put you above taking advice instead of flaming and complaining about everything. Your overconfidence is your weakness. I suspect that there's more to it than mages being strong. Because what I think is that mages have been underpowered for so long that people have just forgotten how to deal with them. And as a person who plays AD champions, of course you resent the fact that AP has been made viable again. You were used to your champions being freelo. Guess what. Riot made AP possible to play again. So learn some new champions and stop complaining. When Yasuo and other AD mids became the biggest thing, I switched up my game. Instead of maining Akali and Katarina , I went Fiora , Riven and AP-max-E MissFortune with item 3151 for midlaning. Also nice against Yasuo 's wall, AP MissFortune with maxed E is. Now that mages are back, I main Anivia because most of the people in my general rank don't remember how to kill her. You just gotta adapt bro. Champs go in and out. Find champions that are strong in YOUR elo, just as I keep switching as the meta changes. Can't spam champions through a meta change and expect everything to turn out the same. That's one of the reasons I'm no longer B5. I've learned to adapt to large changes in meta and have become more willing to try more champions when necessary.

Indominus Blade1 votes

You write so much, but say nothing relevant to the topic at hand. I don't have problems with mage champions, but their winrate is too high and thus they need nerfs. Get over it, the only freelo atm are mages.

X Anivia X1 votes

Ah. but it IS relevant. Let's do some basic math. Winrate = wins / games played. I had a 100% win rate with Ahri last season. But I only played 3 games with her. Doesn't mean anything if the sample taken is too small. Don't you know anything about statistics? A small sample space means that the error margins are HUMONGOUS.

I'm no diamond player, but in Diamond don't you adjust your build according to what you're against? Like in gold we just follow the exact same thing every game, but in Diamond you'd want to get like a QSS earlier on...right?

Doesn't change the fact that Malzahar win rate is too high and other mages are too strong as well.

Stiv12343 votes

Win rate doesnt mean anything if pickrate is low. Also, just because Malz counters the champs you exclusively play, that doesnt mean hes too strong. Ahri is OP, but nowhere near as broken antifun cancer as this guy Yasuo .

Nice excuses, nothing can deny the high winrate of mage champions, they need nerfs. Yasuo is very fun to play against, I love playing against Yasuo.

Yeah, now read my post again and show me where I said Malz doesnt have a high win rate.

I see you're a Yasuo /Zed player. Ok. Ahri 's initiation for her full combo actually is a fairly slow projectile (her E). Use your wall or swap shadows to get out of it. You do realize that both champions you spam are in fact, so mobile that you SHOULD be able to dodge anything. From what I can tell, the ones that actually fit your description of the mages you hate (i.e. point and click) are Cassiopeia and Annie . Brand you should have no trouble with, as his stun is EXTREMELY slow-moving. His passive may be a bit broken, but that's the only thing I have a problem with. Oh and I'm in BRONZE 4 and I have no trouble dodging Pillar of Flame with Anivia even before I get item 1001 .

I don't need advice from low elo players. This thread doesn't have to do anything with me, I can handle any champion in the game just fine. This thread is about factual statistics, mages are too strong at the moment, the winrate shows this.

Its about counter playing not counter building, and there is simply too little counter play and to many ways for those champs to cover their butts and zone you out, which in the end increases their win rate.

They are strong because they are the only mages that deal with the mobility cancer League has become. Point click targeting is the most reliable way to actually be relevant when you have champions jumping around like crickets on cocaine. But, don't worry. Instead of stopping the mobility monsoon, Rito has shown that it intends to nerf all of the point click champions since they like LC$BIGPLAY$ better.

Complaining about what? Champions that have too high winrate get nerfed, mages have too high winrate, time to nerf them :)

Catastrop1 votes

Yeah I get the need for nerfs on champions with high winrates. But look at the pick rates. Malzahar is picked waaay less than Ahri, like 5x way less. That Winrate is justifiable. Same for Karthus and Brand. The other mages I can understand the need for nerfs cuz look at the amount games they've been played with, each over 100k. So I guess what I'm trying to say, nerf the ones who need it, not the ones who are barely hanging onto viability.

NO IT IS NOT. Rammus and amumu had a super low pick rate but a win rate of 55% and they got nerfed, same thing applies here. Mages need to be nerfed.

Unranked = you have no clue what their rank is. I guarantee you that there is at least one D1-Challenger Tier quality player out there who doesn't play ranked, because they don't want to deal with toxic people like you.

That's a little too fast to make final conclusion. Mages are champions you have to think more about what you do instead of just going all in and expect to take an easy kill. This applies to all the roles, but mages have CC and damage, but they're squishy. I have more problems dealing with bruisers than with mages, tbh

As an Anivia main I resent this thread. There are quite a few mages that require skillshots. Hell, Anivia has one of (if not the) slowest projectiles in the game on her Q and her E animation, even though it is point and click, moves slowly enough a good Yasuo can throw up a windwall before it arrives. Or any champion that makes them untargetable can use that ability and get out of it Cough Zed Cough. There goes most of the damage and a long cooldown on the Q ahead. Not to mention the pathetic range. And the slowest champion in the game.
As for Ahri , she requires good positioning to land her full combo. Her E moves fairly slowly, and her W is somewhat unreliable if it is not timed perfectly and well within range. Here's the overall thing about mages. Most of them can be shut down early if you have any clue how to play against them. And mages tend to have expensive build paths too. And most are squishy. So if they are harassed/killed enough that they can't farm, they're pretty worthless for the rest of the game. So either you've been elo boosted and have no clue how to deal with a mage, or you're posting on your friend's account. Get burned by a bronzie, son. or in this case, Anivia item 3151 summoner 14 FREEZER BURNED. OR, perhaps you should actually PLAY a mage some time. You'll figure out they have weaknesses as you walk in thinking you can faceroll and then proceed to be on the wrong end of first blood.

Every champion has strength and weaknesses, but not every champion has a high winrate. Mages have too high winrate, time to balance them to 50% or lower, time for nerfs.
