It's not the q or the stun or the mana regen....IT IS THE W. It cannot be landed without the stun which is really stupid. 1.2 seconds of cast time? Seriously? I think either an increase in the Aoe or a lower drop time is all veigar needs. These random buffs are not helping him.
Variks the Loyal2 votesI once saw someone suggest the idea that his Q, W, and R were 'enhanced' inside of Event Horizon. Like, Q has extended range and damage, W's AoE enlarges to cover the whole horizon, and his ult victim explodes if they die within it. It would promote using Event Horizon for something besides the stun.
I'd like it if they took these random buffs away and did something like that.
LilxPaprika2 votesThe thing is this can change significantly in team fights where with team mates it has tremendous synergy and can be landed quite easily. Just don't pick veigar if your team is low on hard cc. Try him a long a Leona, malphite, taric, bard, sona etc. Try to keep it up until your guaranteed to land it. Don't spam it like you would a nidalee spear, wait for opportunities they'll come
BuCkeT SeiZureS1 votesVeigar's dark matter should not take more synergy to set up than a yasuo ultimate. Not to mention that laning is a big part of the game. In laning phase, he will not hit his W unless the enemy makes a mistake. I would rather them take . 2 AP off of it and make it reliable. Besides, they can put the .2 back into his ultimate, reinforcing his need for it to burst people.

BuCkeT SeiZureS1 votesIt can be spammed more, but what does it accomplish, really? wave clear. in a team fight, the cool down is long enough that the spam-ability may allow you to get two off. and the area it can hit is so small that it is still possible to dodge, even in a team fight. It really needs a little love, as it is more like half a spell at the moment. great for wave clear, terrible for everything else.
LilxPaprika1 votesmaybe it could be like ahri q ball or velkoz's void rift . get more dmg if they don't take the secondary dmg part of it. maybe it could fall quickly hit a small location but have like an after shock / ripple affect of sorts that spreads out once it hits the ground.

I agree that Dark Matter needs some sort of change, but saying that Event Horizon having a 1-second delay, his Q being too short-ranged and his weak mana regen were not problems is a stupid statement to make.
