I don't think it's the laner who needs to know about lane management, I think it's the jungler,

Minions waves under your tower, Junglers comes kills the jayce then takes 6 cs, goes to his jungle and dies to Elise. Now your lane is slowpushing. I'm having fun as Trundle wohohohoho. Works 6 min to make the waves freeze under your tower and there goes all your work.

so what you are telling me is that... your jungler did what the wave would have done naturally? not sure how long you would have kept your wave frozen against a Jayce as Trundle though

you can freeze waves under your TOWER if both minions clashes just outside of turret RANGE. It's not slowpush but you have the safetyness of your tower if Jayce were to be greedy. and you could tp back to lane.

Not necessarily.

the way waves work is to shove them into the tower, and they're forced to bounce back with the wave's 3-4 minion advantage, making is impossible for the enemy top to freeze. By leaving it alone, thats how you get at a minion disadvantage.

If the jungler ganks top and shoves a wave or two into the enemy turret, then the third wave will come and push towards your side with the 4th wave. Freezing it infront of your own tower instead of shoving it doesn't do anything as that freeze eventually breaks and doesn't deny minions, it instead just delays your back opportunities and makes it impossible to make TP plays/get the lane priority to assist your jungler's invades (for instace, if they help you push, they could depend on you better to not die to Elise)

The only fault of the jungler would be if they didn't push it all the way into the tower.

Generally, enemy minions under your tower will mean that your wave will slow-push back even without intervention.

It's how top-laners will bounce a wave before basing so that they can establish a freeze when they return.
