Is it wrong or bm to tell your team what team comp to make?

In champ select, usually you want your team to have their best champs, fine... BUT!@!@#!@!@

What if no one has a tank selected or only me? That isn't enough imo and I ask for more tanks... Nope... bm or wrong apparently. do you just roll with it and hope you win?

There's nothing wrong with mentioning that you notice your team looks to be missing a tank, or that the team is all one damage type, or whatever. But don't expect people to change based on that input. You might just have a group without anybody particularly comfortable playing a tank. In this case, you have to decide how you want to handle it yourself. Either you could be the one who takes the initiative to switch to a tank, you could decide your chances are likely better if people play what they're comfortable with rather than picking something just to fill a comp (I believe you're usually best off having people play what they know), or if you still don't like the looks of the team you're about to play with, dodge.

Mention it. Those people can suck it up. I rather have people say something than be afraid of a bunch of punks and have nobody learn about team comps. That does not mean they should change. However, you will be showing the team has a weakness.

I rather have players choose a champion they feel comfortable with rather than picking a champion to match a composition.

I will say, having one tank gives you a much higher chance of winning a game and it is why most tanks have relatively high win rates compared to other champions.

I will dodge in a ranked game is someone plays a support that has not peel or we have no true ADC. Honestly, troll picks don't happen too often in Gold.

As long as you make it a suggestion and not a command then you're fine. It's good to try and communicate team comp. I personally try to get people on familiar champions instead of what the team needs, but if we need a tank, and someone can play tanks, I will ask them to. If people refuse to cooperate or communicate that's okay. After all, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Theres a really nice video someone made with a limited number of videos of players not to chose in low elo, he basically crosses off the list and leaves only 6 champions, while thats extreme, the point hes trying to get at is crucial. alot of champions are useless.

Some of the most useless in low elo, are Soraka TwistedFate Urgot Ziggs Singed . The reason I say this is they dont fit well into the giant mashup of killing in teamfights which is all that happens in low elo. Soraka requires skilled posiitoning to be useful, even then she cant peel for her ADC, twisted fate is out damaged in most matchups, etc

I dont think its BM for you to tell your team your team comp is bad, but at the same time you dont want them playing someone they are gonna suck dick with,.

Also you need to consider your audience. A lot of league players are teenagers or young adults and they DO NOT like being told what to do almost ever. This is especially apparent in LOWER elo.

If you want actual good team comps, you need to be on a pre-made team. There are a lot of solo players who only know 3-4 champs, which really limits your team options.
