DO NOT BUFF KATARINA Keep her where she is she is really good if you know how to place her daggers and her combos
Her consistent damage is solid you shunpo like 7-10 times a fight
There is literally so many different ways you can use her daggers that it would take a while to list the many situations
People say her laming phase is weak I say the complete opposite you have a good outplay potential and damage for trading in most match ups

She doesn't need buffs, she needs damage nerfs, and additionally buffs/fixes to her kit so she feels more "alive" while playing her. I'm down for a 50% damage reduction on W just to get ward hopping back, or at the very least give her Q bonus damage to minions for farming.
I've said this after the mal rework and i'll say it for kat, they made them feel like shit and ruined my original intentions of maining the champions.
PROJECT Katarìna1 votesI honestly wanna keep her like this, that way newer/low elo people dont try to pick her up or permaban her she is one of my favorite top 3 champs hands down to play I thought her laning phase would be weaker but its actually much stronger I can actually fight back pretty hard and punish my mid laner for being too aggro ie 
, also she has extremely go chase potential especially with her W giving 90% movespeed bonus on cast at max rank is pretty strong.
Miror B1 votesFor me the problem with Kat is similar to the old problems with fizz/ekko (namely that despite being an "assassin" she can still build mostly tank and do most of her job). While I doubt they'll ever buff her from her current state, I would definitely like to see some tweaks to her AP ratio so that people can't just go gunblade+4 tank items and steamroll teams.
PROJECT Katarìna1 votesGunblade is still shit TBH I only go it if when I back a lot after killing my laner I can only afford component items and even then its still pretty bad. Also tank katarina was still around even before I would play tank kat top lane with rylais being first item
