I used to maintain a big thread about answering questions about League of Legends, because sometimes there are cases where you may not be Diamond, but you can still know a heck of a lot about the game. That's all archived here:

So now I'm here on Gameplay to do the exact same thing: Share my knowledge about the game with you. Let's talk about anything and everything you always wanted to know about League of Legends but were afraid to ask.

For those of you who are curious (and I know there are a lot of you), here's a run-down of my season ranks: Season 1: Wasn't even Bronze. I was around 870 ELO. Season 2: Silver Season 3: Gold for most of it but hit Plat near the end Season 4: Diamond Season 5: Diamond Season 6: Diamond Season 7: Diamond (Made it to Masters promos, but failed them. Couldn't try again due to life reasons)

Pick a few champions you're confident in and use those as much as you can. It's a lot easier if some of those can be played in multiple roles as well.

Do you really think that the matchmaking system (in Normals, Ranked and so on) actually works as they say? Did you notice something about one-sided matches, win streaks and lose streaks, and so on?

It works the best it can. it only has a certain number of accounts to pull from and so sometimes things are going to be a bit lopsided. If it can't make a match in time, it'll start broadening the search, because playing a game is usually better than waiting an extra 8 minutes to find one.

Also, as far as I know, Normal MMR isn't tied to ranked MMR< so someone who only plays ranked can hop int normals and play against a bunch of Silvers. I think that should get looked at if that's the case.

I gotta ask about shaco this season because I want to actually try him. What runes work with him and what should I do to jungle with him?

I use a really weird build that lots of people think is unorthodox with Press The Attack. item 1419 item 3077 item 3006 item 3087 item 3031 item 3071 item 3074

Most people will say just go crit with executioner or predator though. PTAco isn't as good as before the patch but he's still a tank-shredder who can take on more than one target at once and come out with a win.

Although you don't need Overheal -- I take it because when I engage on them first, I get a free shield from the Hydra lifesteal. Both Overheal and Triumph work, it just depends.
