Can Support Players Get Some Love?

I know pretty much every time i show up on the forums its something support related but this is about the support players and how they get treated poorly constantly... on the average who gets blamed for their ADC dieing within the first 5 mins of the match? who gets blamed when there's not enough vision but the support player already has their max of 3 deployed already? who gets the "gj" "wtg" comments for that first blood/double/trip the support helped secure botlane? who gets bitched at when (for example) a nami support HEALS with her W to save her ADC and it "ks's" the adc?

I'm not sayin i want people to warship me or other people who play support, but, i am saying people need to learn to stop blaming someone else for their faults in lane, give credit where credit is due, ward along with the support, and realize that yeah that nami may have accidentally killed that ADC but she saved the ADC on her team AND that ADC got an assist while the other ADC got no gold...

It just seems to me that supports are the go-to punching bag of any ADC who's doing badly, any team that is getting killed where there are no wards, or any team who cant seem to maintain objective control.

Now I'm also not saying some of these issues don't derive from the support playing poorly as well, but the ADC/Support relationship is much like a real one, It can't be 100% ADC / 0% Support nor can it be 0% ADC / 100% Support. That is to say an AMAZING Support player is only as effective IN LANE as the synergy of the ADC and the Support combined, however, an AMAZING ADC can carry a poor Support with a little extra effort but the ADC's effectiveness suffers massively.

I almost never see supports getting blamed. Usually it's more likely the ADC/Jungler getting called out.

Yeah within the past few months I have transitioned into maining Support. I disagree with you completely. I would say even when my adc does poorly or my team is losing I am almost NEVER blamed for it. I don't even usually build a sight stone and I still hardly ever get blamed. In fact, today I had a game where an Ashe I was supporting had 14 CS to graves 50, Ashe was playing very badly already went 0/4 also. Ashe used all chat and team chat to try to get reports on me even tho I was silent, she was raging and told me to leave lane. My team AND the enemy team actually stuck up for me and insulted the Ashe. That was the only time in probably 20+ games I've had and ADC try to blame me.

IMO junglers are constantly the punching bag. Anyone loses lane or game they just blame jungler.

sooo I played support to day.... no one blamed me and everyone blamed our jungler

soo I also play jungle too.... that one lux mid lane with even less cs than me does nothing but blame me "cuz csing is all you do, useless jungler" "wait wut the fk lux, yo have half the cs our bot lane has"

this stuff applies more to junglers and yasuo/azir pickers who haven't practiced their hero properly and feeds more than supports in my experience

Honestly, I play support a lot and I have yet to be blamed for my ADC's poor abilities, usually because they don't die unless they obviously rush in alone, turret dive poorly or do something that I can't save them from dying to. Most frequently, I see Junglers getting blamed for most match problems.
