He tell his team what his plan is, how is that not communicating? and there are plently of low elo and high elo players that dont take sightstone and play off meta champs 24/7 to get where they are now. Lets say Im a platnium sion main and I only know how to sion otherwise I just suck on any other champion do you want me to play blitz or thresh and miss every hook? or play someone squishy like raka and sona and die 24/7 in lane? Id rather have an off meta player that knows what he is doing instead of putting them into a role or champion that they have no idea what to do.

Peoples response will always be "dont play MF supp (or annie and brand)" but when someone does it at worlds its okay then to do it in ranked

The fact that he pastes a paragraph with his intention doesn't count as communication.

If I were to immediately declare that, as a support, am going to deny my ADC their farm so that I can carry bottom lane, and as a result I consistently get wins, that doesn't make it okay.

The image that is shown of his declaration doesn't show his allies responses. If they were to ask him not to play that champion and he ignores them, he is not working with his team.

The fact that he is even getting reported means that he is still causing a negative experience for other players because of the way he is behaving.

After official communication from Riot requesting that he not continue his behavior, if he continues his behavior, he faces the possibility to be permanently suspended. That is just how it works.

And make no mistake about it, this is not because he is using Singed, it is not because he is taking smite, it is not because his invading, because he is leaving his ADC to 2v1, because he doesn't buy sightstone, ... it is because he says I'm going to do those things, and despite objection from his team, he still does them.

He could change his strategy up and play Mundo Support and do all of the same things, if his team asks him not to do it, he can get reported.

Even if he plays a conventional support, declaring intent and ignoring objections = reported.

I honestly don't even think you read my post.

It doesn't matter who he plays or where he plays it.

He is telling his team what he is going to do, not what he wants to do.

If he were to say, "Hey guys, I am really good at playing Singed and I have a strategy that I think works really well for me, here it is. ... What do you think?"

That is communication.

If they say "Sure lets give it a try"

Great!

If they say "No, you should pick something that we understand how to play with"

And he picks a different support, that is communicating.

That isn't to say that he can not still try his strategy. I am confident that it could work with other champions.

If his team also tells him not to go with that strategy, and he does it, he is still hindering the game for his allies.

And beyond all of this, the fact that RIOT has told him to stop it because they have received enough complaints about it that he is consistently causing poor experiences, and he ignores them, ...

...

I just don't see how you don't understand this, .. but I guess you are just too "thick minded"

I'm sure thats how he started out. Before he got jaded from the needlessly negative reactions.

So you are saying you ask your team before picking any champ and only pick that champ if they say it is okay with them?

That is the argument you have presented. For example, if the team doesn't want an AD mid and you one trick talon. You deserve a ban. That is what you are saying.

Getting reported for not playing champion that is appropriate for the game and whatever asked for is valid? A one trick must play someone else if the game would suit a mundo instead of singed? Im sorry but as a Kha'zix main I don't want to completely change my play style of assassin to complete tank just because my team demands it. It isn't that i'm refusing communication, it is that I simply suck to the point of bronze level with those champion. And no one wants a bronze in a plat elo game... when I can guarantee a 100% better performance with a comfortable play style.

Getting reported for not playing champion that is appropriate for the game ....

Believe it or not, one of the major skills in this game is about being able to adapt and work with your team.

I certainly understand someone's tenancy to want to stick to what they understand and play well, but you have to understand that you are putting yourself and your team at a disadvantage.

While being a one-trick is not, and should not be in itself a bannable offense, consistently refusing to work with your team just because you don't want to, is.

Anags1 votes

So if I play a conventional top lane and my team doesn't like my build or playstyless then I'm ban worthy? That is what you are saying. Basically if the team wants their top lane to take to and he takes ignite or exhaust he is ban worthy based on the bullshit you ate spewing.

So stupid. Maybe his tear should just play and move on. Solo/duo takes a lot of team work out of the game anyway and as so many people have stated is about your solo abilities. So it shouldn't even matter.

What? That isn't at all what I'm saying.

In fact, I have literally said that is not what I'm saying already. Does anyone actually read the other comments on these threads or just the one they feel like responding to?

Refusing to cooperate with your team is reportable. Consistently receiving verifiable reports for refusing to cooperate with your team is enough for Riot to consider taking action, up to and including permanent suspension.

copy pasting a paragraph =/= communicating

If he is not taking into consideration what his team says then he is not communicating with his team. This is like me saying that me typing "uwovwovcwovnnvwnwobvwjbdjvbcjvb" on chat means that i am communicating with my team

He tell his team what his plan is how is that not communicating?

he is telling them and then what? he doesn't care whether or not they agree with his plan. He doesn't care about anything that happens afterwards. He is forcing his plan on his teammates, that is not communicating. Once again if he just copy pasting a paragraph = communicating then me typing random garbage on the chat also means that i am communicating since for me i don't give a damn about what my team says. There is a huge difference between actually communicating and just randomly copy pasting the same thing just to ignore all feedback provided.

oooh, yeah i'm the "thick minded" person here. Not the one who thinks that the equivalent of saying what you think aloud where people can hear you means that you are communicating with them. It's nice that when you have no argument to defend your flimsy, at best, tittle you just immediately bail out. News Flash, HE IS NOT COMMUNICATING WITH HIS TEAM. Please go and actually read what communicating with someone means before you come posting things like this.

he gives a clear definition of what he is going to do before every game starts if I was playing blitz and said im going to try to steat blue or gromp and i bring smite its okay cause it follows the meta? or if I say Im going to play aggro when my laner doesnt wanna but it gets kills and leads early?

let me ask one simple thing. Do you thing that you going into a public space and then just randomly saying out loud what you are thinking means that you are communicating with anyone there? there is ZERO communication going on there. It's just you saying out loud what you are thinking. That is essentially what he is doing with his teammates. He can type all that he wants, he can say everything that he wants. If he is not actually taking inputs from ANYONE into consideration then he is not communicating! he is just typing what he is going to do no matter what anyone says. That is not communication no matter how hard you want it to be. For you to be communicating with anyone there has to be an exchange of ideas, desires and whatnot with other people. You just saying "i'll do X" and then proceeding to IGNORE everything that anyone says it means you are not communicating! get that through your thick skull! he was not communicating!

He can ping all he wants. He is doing something that no one wanted, everyone asked to not do it yet he still kept doing it! HE GOT BANNED RIGHTFULLY SO. Sorry but keep making excuses for trolls so they can keep on trolling. This is like having someone DC in a normal game and then saying "oh don't report him it's just normals". He was not communicating simple as that and no matter what you say it won't change that since he was not communicating. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL!

you can play any champion you want, no one is saying that you cannot pick something incredibly stupid like Alistar adc but when you then decide to pick that and then proceed to not cs, not be in the lane, just roaming around the jungle no matter what your team says then it becomes an issue. He was not banned for picking Singed support, he was banned for doing the things he did when he did so. Everyone told him to not double jungle, to stay with the ADC and roam only when it was necessary. He didn't care, he still did the exact same thing everyone told him not to do. He could have picked something like Nami and did the exact same things he did and he would have been banned regardless since it was not the champion it was the actions he did and refused to do. I will stay in my elo, you can bring my elo all you want and i won't give a damn. Since this isn't about elo it's about someone who didn't care one bit about what riot told him, what his team told him and pretty much thought that he was above everyone and got punished. You want to keep bringing my elo up? go ahead! that just shows you have NO ARGUMENT whatsoever and that you are getting desperate.

Interesting, has Riot threatened to ban you because you play off-meta picks?

I would say probably not, because playing of-meta picks is not the issue.

His consistent refusal to cooperate with his teammates is the problem.

He's actually right.

Sure the guy was always copy-pasting the same paragraph containing his strat, but do you really think a majority of his teams affected would actually agree to this strat?

Judging from how he got easily punished for this, it's pretty much shown that he "communicates" his plans, and then doesn't give a shit about whether his team likes the idea or not. And judging from his match history, it looks like a bunch of Normal games were purely Singed-instalocks since there. It doesn't matter if his games ended up positively or not. It's more about the hellish experiences he's granting to his teammates, especially his ADC, and THAT is what made him punished.
