We messed up a lot in a hurry. Now let's slow down patches....

Rito logix.

How about you do just as much work fixing the shit you broke before you stop "changing too much."

What is sounds like to me is you guys flubbed up so hard that you don't feel like doing the work to fix it this year.

If doing things quickly messed things up, how would trying to fix things quickly not have the same result?

No, Riot messed up because they changed shit for the sake of change.

If they fix things quickly, things will be fixed quickly and we'll have a better experience playing League.

I don't think that is how it works at all.

A guy was in a car wreck and is bleeding out. Someone rushes to stop the bleeding...

You are wrong sir.

Not at all an apt comparison.

Rushing to change things is what got us in the current situation, so rushing to change things again...will just end up in and equally bad position?

Necessary changes that fix and IMPROVE the game is completely different than changing shit for the sake of change.

And what are these changes that will fix the game?

You simply don't seem to comprehend the discussion so not wasting time responding to you anymore.

I never understood the logic of the speed thing. What was the benefit to that? I sometimes wonder if these tech guys have theorists in the room. It seems self-evident to me that any benefit to speed has to have an inverse benefit to slowness.

Did no one in the room go "Ok so if a patch every 4 weeks is good, why not every week? Or daily?"

In the new "Riot Pls" video, Lead001 stated that they didn't change the game for the sake of change. That was a flat out lie. Season 8 has been a total mess, pure garbage.

I hope they change a lot of things.... I'm not talking about change for the sake of change. I'm talking about changes that actually improve the game.

Literally all the issues this season can be tied down to 3 things. IE change. Stormrazor. Skuttle change.

Simply lowering IE from 50% bonus damage to 30%, and leaving skuttle alone and we'd have had a reasonable season.

The issue with IE was IE + Zeal was too big of a power spike. Lowering the bonus damage would have fixed it without gutting ADC for half a season. Stormrazor added burst in a season where burst was already too high.

The other jungle changes were in general OK but making skuttle such a high priority created gold funneling. How could they not see putting 2 objectives within a short hop of mid lane worth 2 siege minions each WHILE lowering jungle priority wasn't going to create this issue?

Seriously where do they hire these guys? Oh wait.. they hire guys other companies let go...

I think it means preseason will be even bigger. Those engineers have gotta do something with their time.

But Riot’s logic to “let everything settle” is flawed, from a certain point of view. More players will experience the unfortunate lows that the game in its current state offers and feel disenfranchised.

On the other hand, those players who can deal with the worst state this game has ever been in will be all that remains. This does seem like a real dick move on Riot’s part (pardon my French).
