How do you decide which abilities interrupt autos and which don't. Question to designers.

For example. Zed Q will interrupt his auto. he cannot auto during Q animation. but his E does not. it won't interrupt his auto and he can auto during its animation

how do you decide all of this when you design a champion

Zed's E doesn't even stop his movement. Kat's old W and picking up her dagger doesn't cancel it either. They do not stop her movement.

Syndra's Q doesn't stop her movement, but it does cancel her auto I believe. Maybe because its ranged.

Zac's blob (w) doesn't.

Like all of udrys don't.

Seems like its just a melee ability that can be cast while moving. I can see why it makes them less clunky to play.
