if i dont play do i lose my mmr or something?
my friend said i lose my rank or some shit if i choose not to play at all on my diamond accounts in preseason.
isnt the point of preseason to better your mmr for next season?
can someone explain please.
darises2 votesSo i can lose all My games twice?
Sukishoo1 votesNo. Ranked decay and such are disabled during pre-season. So if you don't play no matter what Tier you are you will not lose anything.
You can play however to improve your MMR before the season begins. If you were a Tier V in the end of the season and reached a Tier 3 during Pre-season it can help improve for the next season when the reset occurs.
18 NAKED COWB0YS1 votesthats swag my dude i actually thought i would have to suffer even in preseason.
couldnt believe i finally got a break from ranked and all that stress.
this helped. thanks.
Sukishoo1 votesYup no need to go through more suffereing ;D
You're welcome :D
Cootch1 votesSo since I was Gold 5 if i climb it will help my placement out?
18 NAKED COWB0YS1 votesi mean if you get to gold4 + it will help your placements and your mmr.
i was ending season with d2 so its hard to climb with the all the clusterfucks up there.

18 NAKED COWB0YS1 votessure. when i get on we can go for it.
BALDG1VEN BOOMER1 votesThey said you will be placed lower so they're just trying to encourage people to rank up during preseason so when the reset comes your MMR will be around where you finished so that way you can get an easier time climbing back where you began.
