To be honest, you're right. Instead of sounding like a hero, let alone a Demacian, she sounded brutal and savage, kind of like Darius. But the new Poppy isn't right either. She doesn't sound confident or serious enough.

From what I've seen, a lot of people who play League also like anime. I'm sure that it wouldn't be a bad thing to make all the champions look like they're from an anime.

Rabid Husky1 votesi wouldnt say its all true but there is a bit in there, not everyone who plays league is also into anime but that's not to say there isn't a decent fan base for both here.after all star guardian lux is based off magic girl anime and academy ahri is based on jap schoolgirls so it does show in the game. now for the kawaii arguement when was the last real cute champ released gnar right? in the mean time weve had sion and gp both touched up and both were opposites of themselves. yeah poppys kwaii now but is that really so bad? weve gotten such serious champs lately with braum and gnar being the only lighthearted none serious ones in a long time. i like it i like cute champs its contrast to serious darker champs like sion or renekton and its something thats becoming more and more rare only found in either bad characters or yordles or champs that havent gotten v/o updates

Shonjl1 votesThe sole reason they are reworking her is by the pitiful state she was in as well as how broken she was as well. The ult was literally the most toxic thing in the game since not even CC affected her during it. At least Tryn having a similar ult can be CCed during it.
Good riddence to Poppy and this new one actually looks useful. It is no different than Sion, people cried about losing the old one, but the new one is vastly better.
