Instead of Emblems - An Alternative

Why not just have a legitimate breakdown of queue configurations for someone's last 100 games? Emblems suffer from the same problem as DQ, ambiguity. Someone could get to Platinum with a bunch of smurfs and then play mostly solo since you'd need ~G5 MMR to drop from Plat5. He can then get the "Solo" emblem. It's silly and I don't get why Riot's solutions are always so half-assed for this. It's always one abstraction on top of another (MMR-> Metals -> Promos etc.) and in the process, it becomes less and less meaningful for a ranking system.
