Do people actually take ranked seriously?
I know they're "supposed to", but do they really? As someone who literally never plays ranked, I'm curious as to why people say ranked matters more than normals, then dick around and not try their hardest to win in ranked. They simply refuse to use any basic common sense that was given to them and do whatever the hell they feel like.
Why not just play normals then? I've sort of reached an impasse where I want to try my best to win the game while still keeping it casual. But lately it seems like people in my normals games are taking things TOO casual for my liking; feeding like crazy, then blowing it off as saying "it's just a normal, calm down", playing like a bronze dumbass when they're ranked as diamond (e.g. not warding, never grouping, getting caught out all the time).
I get that normals are to relax and everything, but if you insist on playing like a brain damaged monkey just because you want to relax, understand that not everyone on your team may want to play with a brain damaged monkey.
People don't seem to realize that it IS possible to play casually AND actually try to win. It's really simple: try your best in every game but don't care about the outcome. If you're giving less than 70% of your best effort, then you really shouldn't be playing the game at all, because you're going to be a major hindrance to your team.
