As a jungler, listening to your team loses you games
Why? Because there are 4 other players on your team, and they all want different things. If you try to make one of them happy, it pisses off the others because they're not getting what they want. And since you can't make all of them happy at once, you're better off just doing what YOU think is the right call. If it fails, then you can chalk it up as a learning experience for next time. If it works, it's a positive motivator for success.
E.g. Your top laner wants a gank. Sure, you could gank for them and potentially snowball that lane. But in doing so, your mid laner might die 1v1 to their lane opponent, and bot lane might get ganked by the enemy jungler, which will result in a lost dragon and/or tower. Or the enemies might roam mid, kill your mid laner, and get mid tower. Will a single kill in top lane be worth all that? Probably not, especially if the enemy top laner has TP available.
In such situations, the best advice is to simply ignore all of them. Mute them if you have to. Don't gank simply because a laner wants a gank. Don't gank out of some misplaced sense of guilt over your laner being camped, or out-played. Don't even gank because they're telling you it's a good time to gank (e.g. if they have no summs, if their ult is down). Simply note the variables for what they are and analyze accordingly. If an enemy laner has no summoners, the probability of a successful gank in that lane rises. But always keep in mind WHY you're ganking, and what you hope to accomplish with your gank. If you get a kill, what then? Can you take the tower? Secure Herald/Dragon? Deny resources? Roam elsewhere? If all that will come out of the gank is a kill, it may be worth your time to look elsewhere.
The jungler is not there to cater to the whims of the laners. The jungler is there to exert the greatest amount of pressure in the most strategically appropriate place at the time. If you as the jungler are being pulled in multiple directions by your team members, your own judgement will be impaired and your performance will decrease. Never assume your laners have the game's best interests at heart. The jungler must be impartial, objective, and tactful. The jungler must be able to take a seemingly endless set of variables with no obvious cohesion and tie them together in a way that ensures the most likely course to victory.
Always remember that, while you should NEVER outright ignore information, there are times when you must decide not to act on it.
in mind when I wrote that
. This item is basically like having a second Sightstone for the team. You get wards for the enemy jungle to keep track of their movements, wards for your lanes to help prevent ganks, and wards for neutral objectives to aid in contesting. The only jungler I see regularly buy this item is Lee Sin, and even then most of them go with
.
need help vs
who shoves me under my turret all game (yes I can stack fine there but I lose out on the CS I need for tank items), and my jungler doesn't make an effort to even show his face once in a while and scare them into playing more passively. It's even worse when I am getting constantly turret dived at 100% HP because the enemy jungler decides to focus top lane and get his toplaner ahead so they can roam and end before my stacks matter, while my jungler acts as if I don't exist then calls me out for feeding. Admittedly this is partly due to this season's joke turrets and dynamic queue, but the jungler could still help.
