Some facts about DQ

I dont know if people noticed but DQ is not that bad as all state it to be. Sure the individuall skill just gone straight down since last season, but the funniest thing about that whole que is still that around 80% of the community stuck in low gold - bronze. Im still in gold this season and im aiming to go for platinum or even diamond , but all the people cry about completly lack of skill. You still have to play well to win games. You can get boosted but when you got boosted you wont climb on your own anymore. People got allready boosted when solo q existed and i know i will probably get downvoted by tons of DQ haters but just think about it. If it is so damn easy to climb , why still millions of people stuck in bronze and silver? I mean premades existed allready in solo q. It was just a two men premade , but i mean when you que up with more then 3 people you getting forced to play against people that have voice chat too and have most of the time the same chance of winning games through teamplay. Dont say your elo is bond to bronze just because of DQ. Its just easier to climb nothing else. People should be glad. The game gets easier for new players. Where is the problem? Hoping for some constructive critisizm.

I want to leave an opinion before the pitchforks and torches get brought out.

I like Dynamic Queue. Every game with it has been challenging and investing and I have been slowly climbing. Right now I'm in bronze 1 but I hope to one day make to silver.

As for the hate of DQ. i think its just frustration at the apparent advantage that premades have. Yes, they can communicate better do to having voicechat, but that's it. Mind you that's a strong advantage, but given the system is designed to match premades against each other and the advantage wears thin. I've read many "DQ sucks give me soloq" boards and came to the conclusion on what the biggest problem is.

4-man Premade

This is what the boards actually hate. This is the foundation that they base all their frustration and rage from. The idea that you are in a team where your the odd one out and by extension the least consequential one is understandably frustrating. The boards may seem to have a ax it entirely mentality, but if they simply axed this, they would stop. They'd have no retort to justify their hate should it be challenged. 4-man is the teemo of the league boards.

I'll be honest. I'm biased towards DQ, I have several buddies with inconsistent schedules (myself included) and sometime only three or four can play. Before DQ we's have to split into pairs or have one guy waiting to play ranked together, we had normals, but we didn't want to play normals outside of practicing roles. if DQ goes then my gaming group will have these problems again so I do have a stake in defending its existence, but even so I still play solo and have been doing fine. I still get bad games and i get good games. it happens.

I do my best to keep the "random" informed of our plans and rarely blame them when they or the game go south (which because we are bronze, happens a lot)

A band-aid solution should be used to give riot enough time till next season when they can iron out the kinks in DQ. Maybe an IP boost for solo queuers. Something that shows they care about the solo players but don't want to ruin the game for groups of players.

But thats what I think, and I'm bronze so eh. [slayer-jinx-wink]
