It's just him not tryharding. Faker was top 20 challenger a few months ago, if he wanted challenger, he'd get it at will.

There's more important things than soloq when you're on the best league team in the world.

And that means what? He's suddenly victim to a horrendous system and can't use his pro skills to climb out of it? I'm sorry, but players with skill in this game typically don't fall off the face of the earth if they can't get their role. Skill typically still translates pretty well when you get a role that isn't first pick.
