First and foremost, I am fairly new to league having started just a year ago. So forgive me if I say something wrong. I just completed my placement matches. I won 8 out of 10. And out of 10 matches, I secured S or above grade in around 5-6 matches. Which means I played decently well. Yet I still got placed in Bronze V. I thought the more matches we win, the higher our ranking will be. Please help me out here and tell me what's what.

Corporal B1 votesLooks normal. Everyone should expect to fall from where they were last season regardless of wins. More wins = less of a drop (to an extent). It looked like you finished Bronze V last season. Since that is currently the lowest bracket, you can't be placed below it. So being placed in bronze 5 again was almost a guarantee. Good luck climbing!
NuggeTech1 votesDon't you think its a bit unfair? I mean I know I have improved a lot, yet I have to start from the lowest bracket of all. Now I have to go all the away. It is not at all easy esp. for a solo queuer like me

It's like this across the board though. Everyone drops then work their way back up. I get solo isn't easy (solo myself), but you'll get there. Good luck.
