The math of new Cinderhulk

Unless my numbers are completely off, here's the comparison between old and new cinderhulk

EDIT: updated with new values for Omen's -100 HP nerf

Old: 300 HP + 25% Bonus New: 400 HP + 15% Bonus:

Cinderhulk + no additional items Old: 375 total bonus HP new: 460 total bonus HP ( +85 HP buff)

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen (additional +400 bonus HP) old: 875 total bonus HP new: 1035 total bonus HP ( +35 HP buff)

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage (additional +800 bonus HP) old: 1375 total bonus HP new: 1380 total bonus HP ( +5 HP buff)

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage + Deadman's plate (additional +1500 bonus HP) old: 2125 total bonus HP new: 2070 total bonus HP ( -55 HP Nerf)

idk, it doesn't seem like a big change at all. It actually makes it more cost effective if you get it plus one additional HP item.

The nerf kicks in once you reach **850 bonus HP FROM OTHER ITEMS ** and you don't really notice it untill you reach 2000 bonus HP (cinderhulk included)

Yeah, but it's a big nerf to champs like Cho.

It should be an even better item mid game with a minor fall off late game. Sounds like a buff to me.

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage + Deadman's plate (additional +1500 bonus HP) old: 2250 total bonus HP new: 2185 total bonus HP ( -65 HP Nerf)

Your math is way off.

Old: 300 HP + 25% Bonus New: 400 HP + 15% Bonus:

Cinderhulk + no additional items Old: 375 total bonus HP new: 460 total bonus HP ( +85 HP buff)

Correct.

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen (additional +500 bonus HP) old: 1000 total bonus HP new: 1035 total bonus HP ( +35 HP buff)

False.

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen = 800 HP (New and Old) Old: 1000 HP New: 920 HP (-80 HP Nerf)

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage (additional +900 bonus HP) old: 1500 total bonus HP new: 1495 total bonus HP ( -5 HP Nerf)

False again.

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage = 1200 HP Old: 1500 New: 1380 (-120 HP Nerf)

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage + Deadman's plate (additional +1500 bonus HP) old: 2250 total bonus HP new: 2185 total bonus HP ( -65 HP Nerf)

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage + Deadman's plate = 1800 HP Old: 2250 HP (although irrelevantly old because deadman's was just recently introduced) New: 2070 (-180 HP Nerf)

Lets add Warmogs for hits and giggles.

Cinderhulk + Randuin's Omen + Spirit Visage + Deadman's plate + Warmogs Armor = 2600 HP Old: 3250 HP New: 2990 HP (-260 HP Nerf)

I don't want to even start counting the actual HP of the champion plus runes and masteries.

Does it still gives bonus HP as icing? Yes, but its a late game nerf no matter which way you slice it.
