So how long before I'm actually allowed to play Zoe?

Between dodging, the auto locks. My own team banning her just to troll and the enemy team banning her, I have had the chance to play Zoe twice since her release. once on ARAM and once on the rift. My own teammates have banned her more then the enemy team has. I know that new champs suffer troll bans all the time but I really wish Riot would make new champs unbannable in normal draft for a few weeks upon release so that people can actually play her.

It's so bad, I'm still trying to complete the Zoe mission at this point.

I was speaking purely in terms of normal draft, not ranked. Sorry, I should have been more clear on that.

Yea I don't know why people ban new champions in normal draft. Now Ranked I completely agree and will also ban new champions there for the first 1-2 weeks but in normals you really shouldn't ban them there....mainly for the fact that you will need experience with how to play against or play with one on your team and the best place to practice that is in normal draft. Though I will admit that it is annoying to see the new champion picked (or banned) every game for weeks but you still shouldn't constantly ban them. The more you play against one, the easier you will find out counters for her and the faster you become used to her match ups for when you do jump into ranked, you are prepared when one jumps in.

I'm considering banning her every game. I'm tired of my teammates playing her first time, and screwing us over because of it. They have no idea how to play her.
