Move over Trashuo! Kayn-cer is the new thing!

I swear that Kayn will be the end of me. It seems that all the kamikaze YOLO Yasuos have jumped onto Kayn and are diving-in head first into 1 v 3 battles as if they are immortal. Based on what I am seeing, I have a strong feeling that Kayn will be joining the likes of Yasuo and Tristana on the realms of the protective/self bans - to stop teammates from choosing the champ.

Sure if they slapped windwall on kayn along with double critical chance and minion surfing

Missed the point. Yes, I get your idea about the windwall and double crits, but the player type he's attracting are showing the same bad kamikaze type behaviours that you see on the bad Yasuos. Bad Kayn players, like many bad Yasuos, tend to develop a bit of a god complex and take really bad risks without thinking.

he isn't cancer tho from what i have seen.

well ofc people go YOLO on him atm, they want to test out what he can and what he cannot do, like with every new champion.

but he seems like a more or less fine champion to me for now.

Not saying that he isn't a fine champion - I think he could be. Heck, even Yasuo is a fine champion - in the right hands. But the type of player he is attracting - particularly in normals and lower ranks - is, shall we say, a bit on the reckless side? (And I figure it won't be long before he gets into the auto-ban territory - due more to the type of player he attracts, rather than the good players who do play him with some skill or the quality of the champ itself.)

well Yasuo is banned because no one wants to play against him, not because the kind of players he attracts.

Kayn isn't like that imo. ofc everybody wants to play him for now and all, but i doubt that he will end up with such a high playrate and being that unfun to play against like Yasuo.

i don't think he will be ever permabanned for anything else than when his numbers might be too strong, what could easily be fixed.

just wait 1-2 weeks.

Actually at higher tiers, players don't him because either (a) he's rubbish; (b) he's annoying to have on your team or (c) as you said, you don't want to play against him. But, wait and see on the Kayn side of things. You might be surprised. ;)
