The other day when i posted about nautalis's w? they told me...

They told me that naut was getting a buff to his e Riptide (E): Cooldown lowered to 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 from 10 at all ranks Mana cost lowered to 40/50/60/70/80 from 60/70/80/90/100 AP ratio lowered to .3 from .5 Slow duration lowered to 1.25 from 2 seconds All i see is a lower cooldown on his e? This is a garbage ass "buff"

Yeah, they're claiming that they want his E to be more reliable now.

But all I see is an even more mana dependant Tank Jungler.

At least with W, he could get a few solid DoT hits in before losing the shield.

Question, do you even play the PBE? From what I've played from it, his E is F**king glorious for teamfights. If you build Naut pure tank, you barely even notice the Ratios, and the deeps are amazing.

these guys are clearly buildign a deathcap on him.

It is a nerf if you are forever spaming the ability for no reason and a buff if you actually value doing damage. BASE DAMAGE IS NOT NERFED AND CAN BE DONE MORE THEN TWICE AS OFTEN PAST RANK 3 OF THE ABILITY

Yes this means you can run out of mana faster but only if you don't build to contend with the potential issue.

So, if it is not obvious for what is plain to be seen, they've given Naut way more presence in teamfights. A 4 second AOE that can do up to 220 )440 if they hit all waves) is really big.

And yeah, so what if you need mana? Tanks have always relied on abilities for wave clear, and I see no difference from where he is now then before. Not to mention, new jungler item with Immolate that does up to around 49 damage a sec, so once again, more teamfight potential and jungle clear.

And for any issues with his shield. What is the main purpose of his shield? To prevent damage with a nice side of dealing some damage. It's unreliable as a wave clear since it can be token down and not only are you taking damage, but you also lost your main source of wave clear.

Guess you could say he's going to be very Naut-y

Nautilus getting an ability with a single digit cooldown?

Nah. Calling bullshit on that one. Nautilus is too large to have small cooldowns.

DrMundo Sion Are we too big!? HUH!? (Sion's Q goes down to single digits. Does that count? I don't know these rules.)

Read it again. They cut a flat 20 mana off his E per level.

I am seeing a Frozen Heart Nautilus here. Do you?

you're telling me you don't build frozen heart? Last i check every nautalis player gets 40% cdr. Why do we even need these "buffs" (nerfs) at all? It's already a 6 second cool down with 40% cdr. if they dont have tenacity then its on a 4 second cool down because of that 2 second slow. Lower cooldown for the cost of a lower slow? yeah that's not something i look forward to.

No, since I don't play Nautilus.

While the AP ratio and slow are getting hit (by 40% and 37.5% respectively), the cooldown is getting a 40% buff at level 1 and a 60% buff at max rank. So essentially, his E will be better after level 3 for clearing early game and significantly better in late game teamfights. The mana changes are nice too.

They are making him a more sticky and mana hungry wet noodle.
