Has Riot gone too far with Katarina?

The biggest problem with Katarina is her passive Every time she gets a kill/assist all of her other abilitys are set off cool down except her ultimate Her ultimate just gets a sever reduction. This only makes it some what difficult to trade off with her. Katarina & Master Yi It seems like hyper carry is just one or two easy kills away. When it comes down to it one or two kills is all any games needs to snow ball out of control. I think if shes shut down early Level 2 ish she won't come back easily. If you let her scale up and up she can probably solo your whole team in a flash. I don't think Katarina is broken For the same reason every other champion is not. Every champion is over powered when fed 10 kills in 8 minutes.

She's one of the hardest countered champs in the game. Something as simple as a silence stops her from using her ulti, which prevents her from finishing up any combo. If your team isn't focusing Kat in team fights, that's your own fault.

Typical when someone can't get beyond bronze or silver, they consider everyone equal :D

"As simple as a silence" ROFL. I'll be sure to pick any one of the ~6 mediocre champs with a silence to "counter" her. Right. Such bullshit. She's nowhere near being among the "hardest countered champs in the game". Which part of her is easy to counter? Her ridiculous safety? Infinite harass? Infinite sustain with like, one item? Guaranteed snowballing?

And it's almost like APs don't have this tailored made item with an active designed specifically to stop them from being focused. Oh wait. They totally do. And it's the most broken item in the game.

I wouldn't call her infinite sustain really One mistake early game and their is a word for her USELESS. I do agree with the infinite harass that is just annoying. And their is one item worse then Zhonyas hourglass. Guardian Angel. It should be a priority in every build ever.

I think it's fair for Kat to be strong if she can use her ult, but the fact that 90% of kats I play against pick into teams with heavy cc and still do fine makes me think there is something wrong the champ.

Her burst comes out too quickly to adequately manage. She's not like most other assassins who need a bit of setup time. Kat can jump in, pop everything, and drop your team from 100-50 or less before you can CC her.

She's like Talon in that regard: super super fast massive damage that basically says 'sucks for you.'

I'm sorry, but an assassin with massive AoE, no resource to manage, mobility, resets, and exceptional functionality with spellvamp should not even be allowed to exist. Pick, like, three of those things and it's okay. I really don't understand this dynamic of letting assassins kill whole teams over and over and over. That's not what "assassins" do. No one does that. That's idiotic champ design.

"Just CC her" is such an empty defense when her burst exists where it does. Just CC her? How? I'm dead-- chunked through my 175 MR.

That being said, I really think Katarina is a better indictment on the state of AP itemization vs. literally everything else, especially tanks.

"Just CC" is such a bland answer Zhonyas hour glass can counter CC..I mean as long as we are talking about counters. Once the CC is gone then what?

It is just a nerf to her early game, late game she is still just as strong. I really don't see this nerf as that big of an issue.

I never said I struggled with kat. the fact of the matter is with all that CDR It can be difficult to play against her some times Especally after she exceeds 6 kills Once more Bouncing blade has started hitting for 1,000 magic damage And shunpo has started hitting 600. And It annoys me how gold players think they are god. 60% of the community is bronze. you are basically calling league of legends bad.
