Is league finally dying?
It just seems with the recent changes, League is going into a HUGE nosedive.
- Dynamic Queue is an utter failure, and regardless of how much the fans complain, Riot insists that what they are doing is right.
- Several streamers are now quitting League and going to games like Overwatch simply because it is fresh and exciting while League has grown stale. A maximum of 3 maps (4 once when DND and Ascension rotate in) maps to play on, and only one ever really get's used competitvely. At least HotS has about 7 different maps that rotate in.
- The last two champions released have been overwhelmingly unimpressive. Ao Shin was a highly anticipated character...and then they release Aurelion Sol, he fell flat. Taliyah also has yet (to the point) seen a competitive rating and had one of the worst winning statistic in the history of League of Legends (Syndra only topping her at release with a 28.94, while Taliyah is sitting at around 34%)
- To try and soothe player's hatred of what they are doing, Riot (instead of fixing the problem) decides to release cosmetics.
- They promise to come out with a Rotating Game Mode where new game modes are allowed to be played every weekend. But within these past couple of weeks only ascension and Hexakill have been brought back, even though most players absolutely love Urf. In fact, Urf may be the only thing saving this game right now.
These are just some of the things i have happened to notice and, frankly, i might be on the verge of quitting this game like several streamers have already. I don't know if Riot is planning a new game and wants to gradually kill League until their new game comes out, or if they just want to finish this all together, but i for one am tired of this game.
