my freind did ranked for the first time in season 4 he won 3 out of 10 got silver 5
I on the other hand also did my first 10 ranked games and won 4 and was placed in bronze 1
how does this make any sense ? I easly climbed to silver 1 at the end of the season but why did he get silver my other friend also did his first 10 games won 4 and got bronze 1 how come ?????????? my friend who won 3 got silver ...

Kazaashi1 votesPlacements don't really matter that much. If you are gold and the system places you in Bronze, then you should have no problem getting back there. The 30 games after your placements a WAY more important.

I don't need an example. That is how the system works. If you are truly a gold/plat/diamond tier player, then you will win more games than lose, until you reach [within 1-2 divisions] of your real rank. The placements attempt an educated guess about your rank, but 10 games really is not a good determinate of skill. Play 10 chess games and see if you have a good idea of your skill at the game.
