How do you play against himerdinger adc?

I've recently played against a himerdinger adc and I'm honestly just so confused on how you play against it. I play alot of Janna but I actually don't know how I can do anything against this champ. He's quick, he does a lot of damage, and if you actually do poke him not only does he have minions helping him but also his turrets. Along with that if he lands a stun on you, you will almost always die.

Seriously what's a support counter pick? Or just in general, how do you play against this champion?

Take someone with long range and then kill his turrets. His turret mana cost isn't as much of an issue as his charges, and those charges are something very important for Heimerdinger to consider. Lux support is fine (even tho I do destroy Lux as Heimerdinger in mid, Lux does a good job at clearing turrets and zoning Heimerdinger if he isn't careful). Caitlyn is good against him. Miss Fortune is good. Jhin is good. Tristana is good. You get the point. You'll outzone him and kill his turrets far from its range. For supports, you could go as Orianna, Syndra, Xerath, Zoe, Swain, etc. Sure, a lot of Heimerdinger's damage comes from his missiles, but he's very mana hungry if he keeps using it. Plus, it can be a bit difficult to aim his missiles if he wants to hit all of them to utilize the most damage. Please just don't run into his turrets. Farming under tower is fine. He is a lane bully, treat him as such. Only go through his turrets if you know you can secure a kill. He is squishy, but a good Heimerdinger can kite well. He has movement speed around his turrets. Especially be careful if he has a stopwatch or Zhonya. Zhonya's Hourglass is just too good of an item.

At botlane, you try picking champions that have as much range as possible or enough damage to kill turrets in 1 or 2 hits early on. Caitlyn and Draven both work very well against Heimer and with a good Poke support, he should be no problem for ya

Play Syndra lol

Corki, Draven, Ezreal, Jhin, MF, Twitch, Vayne, Tristana, Varus, Ashe, Senna, Caitlyn, Jinx, and Kog with W all out-range his turrets. While the turrets are hard to kill early on, they get pretty squishy as the lane goes on.

By right clicking on him since his abilities can actually miss. While simultaneously outscaling him.

You don't. Top laners and mid laners have been complaining for years. We thought he was gone for good in s9 when he was barely played but they conq got reworked and now he's broken again :/

You're playing one of those champions that heimerdinger is good against, have you tried Brand/Vel koz? They do exceptionally well vs Heimerdinger.

You don't. Not even exaggerating. Heimerdinger's design is just trash. Until you're big enough to kill his turrets quickly, you let him push you under the tur. For counterpicks, I'd assume Morg, Syndra, Yasuo, and Tahm Kench.

A bunch of children are crying "you don't". Anyone that can drop his turrets fast will do fine. Senna, fidd, lux, vel, and ziggs could prob all handle them just fine, maybe brand and so on. Enchanters aren't gonna bring a lot to the table to bother heim. Better yet just have a real long range adc like cait and just kill the turrets while you/they cs. Siv could prob do pretty well with her good waveclear and spellshield.

step one you dont

nerf his Q cooldown so he can't just keep spamming out turrets remove conq from the game and ez pz wont ever see that unbalanced garbage anymore

Well I have had the best luck fighting him by flanking from the side with my champ. make like your going to ward and come at him from the side where you will likely only have to deal with one turret. trying to fight him head to head is kind of a losing battle.

As for hard counters there is no better one than Syndra Syndra. Pick up a turret throw it another turret and cast a ball = 2 dead turrets. He uses his ult + turret, pick up the big turret and throw it away from your fight.

As support there is the option of going Sion. He can knock the turrets back into a useless position with his E without having to kill them. Tahm can do this as well but he has to get closer to do so.

i play heimer adc when my support locks something stupid, or if the enemy team locks a really insane bot lane that just shits on most other things like Cait + any sup wit CC for example. Also I lock it first pick sometimes when I don't want to get counter picked since he is so self sufficient.

First thing is to destroy the turrets without taking too much poke, this isn't actually too hard and his timers to place down turrets is actually kinda long, so the longer the lane goes the better your chance to kill him early.

Also don't walk in straight lines, like ppl telegraph where they are walking or going so frequently that it makes hitting those E's and W's pretty simple against most, you have to walk in different directions, not just in straight lines. That's probably the most important thing

Honestly when I play against Heimers i don't feel like he is too strong, maybe cause i play as him i know how to play against him?

Anyways i usually play Sivir or Xayah against Heimer, with sivir its just basically to play a super safe lane, i'm not looking to kill him really unless he eats Q's and more than likely he can't kill me since i can just E his E..Then I can W and knock down most of the turrets.

The other part is punishing him when his turrets are on CD, it's actually pretty easy to tell when the Turrets are on CD. If you noticed he isn't laying any down then chances are lol he doesn't have any charges, if you have a all-in champ / support setup then that is the best time to really pressure him.

I think most ADCs can do fine against, I remember a Aphelios who i had a lot of trouble with as well since he can do a lot of things that Heimer can do.

I really think it's just about picking your spots and recognizing when but also just learning how to path better. Most ppl in low elo only walk 1 direction, many don't use any sort of Attack move or anything..So if you just walk straight and just assume you aren't gonna get stunned up then that's your first mistake right there. Learn how to walk up then back then path in right to left sorta stuff with the goal being the same destination but you take a lot of different directions to get there.

If you are Janna I think she is a fine support into heimer, you could just shield yourself and take out his turrets whenever you want, then just W and Q.

The thing you don't want to do is go full on heavy commit cause that's actually how heimer gets ahead, when ppl get impatient and just want to brute force into all of his turrets when he still has Flash and R up and basically everything, it's like one of those things where it's not a good move, more than likely at least 1 or 2 of u will die if I lay down a RQ and hit a E on 1 person, now I'm fed and you are behind and that's where you mess up, you have to be methodical with how you handle it but at the same time not insanely passive or predictable..I want to stress that playing super passive is not a good strat either, you want to challenge him without eating too much poke and that's generally not too hard early; his all in becomes stronger the more predictable you play but also the more passive you play, since passive play generally means you are going to be eating a ton of poke from him.

OFC if that's too much you could just play Garen Yuumi and chill for like 5 levels and then @lv6 you just all in and kill him easy..

You don't lol. Literally an impossible matchup for any adc.
