Maybe Champions like Riven, Yasuo and Lee Sin don't have overloaded kits
Maybe champions like Garen, Ashe and Volibear have underloaded kits ;P

Why are you suddenly shilling hard against Garen
did you lose to one recently
This post is a meme and so are you
am i a meme?
Posting a bad "joke" online doesn't make it a meme
No ur a meme
You should probably have put it in Memes&Games
Even I can tell it was a joke, but you should post in the right board to avoid this confusion :/
Thats prettymuch been their design strategy the last 3 years. Make everything OP and fun to play, that way you can't outban anyone. And noone can complain because they are OP also. It's just that a lot of old champs got left behind due to this.
Perspective.
I would love to play Garen in the top lane, tbh. I just feel he's a poor choice. You have
who are all excellent picks. Gnar less-so, but still a good pick.
Ryze does tho
In comparison to how the game evolves, the answer is yes for both depending on the argument.
It is true, but, because in relativity to Lee Sin/Riven/Yas/etc. there are a TON more champs that are underloaded. It is more reasonable, and correct, to say that those types of champs are overloaded.
Because as it is, every new champ needs to have some way or mechanism to deal with the new flashy LC$ champs that are LeeSin/Riven/Yas/etc. Those champs set the bar for a lot of things, and that's why they are seen as an overloaded mess
"New Flashy LC$"
Riven was, Sep 2011 Lee Sin was, Apr 2011
For comparison. some simple champions released after them
Shyvana was, Nov 2011 Fizz was, Nov 2011 Darius was, June 2012 Jayce was, July 2012
Just throwing it out there. Riven and Lee Sin were very early introductions to the game.
Upon the time of their release, those champs began setting the bar of quality for new champs. If you couldn't contest with them, you wouldn't be meta. This would also be seen in champs like Jayce or Elise, who would be dominant for a really long time(months, elise even being dominant over the course of multiple seasons)
Shyvana was one of the first to introduce a secondary resource bar that wasn't energy. It wasn't meant to be super OP, but just testing the waters(think of Kled being the introduction to a new, unique resource; The focus isn't on champ strength as much as a unique identity).
I'd have to think more on Fizz.
Darius may have been designed to keep champs like Riven in check. Jayce wasn't meant to do that(as he does now), but to put a new spin on "transform"
Ah the good old fashioned just buff everyone to avoid nerfing overpowered shit
Both are true actually. Because riot does this over buff --- over nerf thing, because half the time they aren't even buffing or nerfing based off of actual game play or balance issues, just because they personally don't think some particular type of play style fits in with their vision, which it is their game they are entitled to that. They are not however entitled to do that while lieing to my face about why they are doing that and then advertising to get me to spend more money on their game that they are continuing to shovel out lies about. It would restore alot of my faith in them if they just said, "Look guys, real talk, we don't want this or that as part of the game so we removed it sorry". That I can accept. Shoveling out bullshit about not fixing a bug with Azir intentionally because it's been that way for a while but instead saying "there's no effective game play change" and "we just removed the tool tip" does not cut it. I'm sorry, please take fucking responsibility for your design choices. It's like you are trying to convince yourself with these patch notes now.... The reasoning given is 3/4 of the time absolute apologetic bullcrap. Just say it: "We don't want this as part of our game".
