Poppy clearance speed needs to be improved a little

with her passive. poppy is best at jungling. I don't see her passive as useful in lane as it is really clunky and unconventional in most situations. but as fast as I use my E and Q optimally to kill the camps asap. i am almost always behind the other jungler no matter who it is unless its another poppy. I don't know why is that. but partially because her Q aoe is really really small. and the E stun doesn't do as much damage as it should. and her base damage is pretty low while it should be pretty high. i mean for gods sake she has a giant hammer.

IDK why you think the passive is bad in lane. Use it to last hit a minion and you get a shield then go in to trade while blocking their damage, or use it to hit the opponent from far and get some free damage and a shield to go back in if you're fast enough to get it without taking to much harass while running to the buckler

well. because often times the buckler is way closer to the enemy and you will put yourself in danger. or right in the middle of minions making getting it getting hit by minion agro and losing health for temporary shield? no.

not to mention losing some last hits on minions while getting it

If you last hit a minion you get the shield automatically, which gives her the ability to remain in lane, is what he's saying. If you last hit with it you should never need to shuffle around through minion crowds to secure it.

No opinions on Poppy myself since I haven't played her, just clarifying the statement.

Passive procs relic shield as a support.

Really nice.

Also procs other melee masteries for bandit and.stuff. so poppy support is pretty good.

I played it and we had mirror adcs but they has a soraka support. Dispite still being strong after nerfs I was able to be the better support.
