It could be fun. Hey, you know that ink mage Riot has been trying to make, but they can't justify a champion standing around for long periods of time in a team fight? Fusing with another champion could fix that.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL......play bot dude. you can't even get supports and adc to work together, why it is most shitty lane and is always auto filled cuz it aids. do you honestly think two people in one champ would be less aids?

I'm not saying that have to work together. For all I care it could be a mid and a top who have this mechanic. They just have the option to have all of their attacks and abilities come out of one body with more health and mana than any other champion in a team fight... if they want to. If they are fighting a cc heavy team it would probably be better to just stay separate.

Have you played Cho'Gall? Well, just take 1 of their kit, make them a little smaller, lower their stats a bit, and there you go. They would have independent kits and personalities, that just so happen to synergize.

Like Varus was 2 guys before they fused together into Varus's body. What if the next Darkin is two people who each have part of a Darkin weapon, and then they have a mechanic to fuse them into the Darkin. Like, one champion could be all ascended looking and righteous, but always striving to be perfect by getting the other half of the Darkin, meanwhile the other champion could be all dark and brooding and maybe even sympathizes with the Darkin, and is trying to free the Darkin from their prison by getting it's other half.

They would each have an individual personality, and their kits would be simple, and be perfectly viable on their own.
