Lee Sin is also far more well-known for ward-hopping than Kat. In addition, Kat can now Shunpo multiple times in short order. I'd say at absolute worst it was a wash.

Kat can still jump over certain walls. If you use W next to a wall and then target the furthest edge of the knife she'll jump over small walls like the on north of the dragon pit.

It actually is, because of what their purposes are in team fights.

Lee Sin's purpose is to initiate a fight by kicking a key target in a precise direction. He absolutely needs the freedom provided by a ward hop to aim that kick.

Katarina's purpose in a fight is to finish off a low health target and cascade into kills through her resets. She needs to get to a target and kill it, then jump to the next one.

The logical choice is to balance champions around what they want to do in the game and what makes them effective at that job without removing their weaknesses. The nonsensical choice would be to balance around the idea that champions would call dibs on mechanics that make them unhealthy.

One issue. Lee doesn't dk his job because when he does it. He instant kills instead of providing the kill for his team. And kat is too slow to do hers. Guess they failed at what you said

I don't know what you're insinuating but regardless of how many times she can jump she's in an extremely strong spot atm, perhaps a bit too strong.

She's not. Just pick flash and you magically countered her. She needs to wait for her damage to land while everyone else can instant burst. If that's strong position, idk what's weak in your eyes. Just in an acceptable, but definitly not strong. Talon does what she does earlier, faster, deadlier. Except if he walks in a bush and I got my dagger already on the ground and im 5 kills ahead. ^^

And I said, you cant jump on 1 person for free as Dominus suggested. You need to grab your knives to have 1-2 seconds CD (pre level 8)
