Average 9 minute queue? Anyone else experiencing this?

I am averaging a 9 minute queue time just for normal games and I'm not even queuing for the most popular roles (generally queue for support, top, or jungle). I just sat through this three times now because of 3 dodges. It has been over 30 minutes of queue time and time in champion select and honestly, by the time my game finally gets through pick and ban and loads up it will probably be 45 minutes. I get that riot can't control dodges, but honestly nearly 10 minutes just in queue? That's absurd

Because Dynamic has 16 more lock or die moments, after the original round of AFK checks.

So, the reality is, Dynamic ends up being an eleventh player, making the whole lobby play 16 rounds of "Simon Says!", and it throws a tantrum like a spoiled brat and starts over any time any one player makes a mistake or gets distracted. It's really no different than those players who show up and say "mid or feed" or whatever, only now it's the lobby system itself acting like a petulant 5 yr old, instead of an actual player. Dynamic queue, despite its good intentions, is a troll.

And since it now takes anywhere from three to eight lobbies to reach the game, most people find something else to do while they queue, which, in turn, just invites that many more lobby resets.

I've had plenty of 40 minute waits in normal draft since dynamic started. I've always got jungle or support as one of my positions, and I never queue for mid.

with you being a bronze player (no offense or anything like that), I would think it would be a lot faster. Like 2 mins MAX.

10+ min queue times usually come when you hit plat+
