I don't understand how to play with low ELO's

I literally think i'm so far above them in terms of knowledge, skill, and strategy - that I don't know how to dumb down my individual ability to play on their level.

People do the strangest things;

At any given time, there will ALWAYS be an ally who is doing something wrong at the wrong time. Like split pushing on the opposite side of the map as the team fight, or farming jungle on the same screen as a team fight, or soloing Dragon / Baron while a team fight is going on 3/4 of a foot away from them.

People focus fire the tank. I don't know why they do it, I think it's because it's the closest target to them, which doesn't make any sense. It's like okay, so we blasted all of our abilities on their tank, who by the way, is still alive, and our entire team just got aced. Hmmmmmm... Sorry, I guess something as 'complex' as that, takes 5,000 games to learn not to do.

People roam to your lane to farm your creeps, because you're static farming, and their lane is either pushed too deep, or their enemies are too strong for them to safely farm in their lane. Like dude? I haven't even bitched at you yet, why are you being a douchebag?

The best thing you can do, is trying to command them.

They are just a bunch of goldbags running around waiting to feed the opposite team.

So don't play with them?

If the matchmaking pairs you with them, then believe it or not, you are more or less on the same level.

"People focus fire the tank. I don't know why they do it, I think it's because it's the closest target to them"

If the "tanks" are trying to full engage your backline then you focus the tank. ADC job is to attack the closet target, not to get the squishys (that's the bruiser job.)

And playing op champs like Akali, Wukong, Blitz(op in low elo), and Caitlin. If you're playing champs that can't carry then that's why you're losing.

Yep, we're the same skill level. You know what? I won't even disagree to this statement, because it's just an ego argument versus you can't have an ego argument.

No, pro's do not focus fire the tank. The tank is not the target the ADC needs to focus, especially if it's the closest target to them. They need to sidestep past their tank, and help focus on taking out the damage dealers.

They reason why teams win team fights is because their damage dealers were allowed to deal damage for longer than they should have been able to.

Like split pushing on the opposite side of the map as the team fight

Your complaint makes no sense. If you're going to split push, the only sensible place to do it is on the opposite side of the map.

Also, if you have a split pusher and you have a teamfight, that's your mistake and not the split pusher's.

People focus fire the tank. I don't know why they do it, I think it's because it's the closest target to them, which doesn't make any sense.

People who complain about this almost always misunderstand the game. Not that you want to kill the tank first or anything, but a properly played tank typically forces your carries to kill it. High elo players roll their eyes when they see this in chat.

It's like okay, so we blasted all of our abilities on their tank, who by the way, is still alive, and our entire team just got aced.

If focusing the tank doesn't even kill it, you stood zero chance of winning that teamfight anyway.

People roam to your lane to farm your creeps, because you're static farming, and their lane is either pushed too deep, or their enemies are too strong for them to safely farm in their lane.

Sometimes people are selfish pricks. Sometimes you need to realize that freezing your lane and farming is helping you, but not helping your team win the game.

For example, if your bot lane made a double and took the tower, those players are coming mid and so is at least the enemy support. If you complain about the ADC taking your farm you're misunderstanding the game.

I stopped reading there

It's either;

A: Mid is being ganked like no tomorrow, and REFUSES to ward. I suggest, hey maybe you should buy some wards? "That's not the fucking issue retard, the issue is you refuse to gank." Ok, so why would I want to gank a losing a lane first of all, second of all, why would I want to gank a lane that doesn't have any vision surrounding it? Yeah, i'll pass.

B: ADC is ALWAYS off free farming, and yeah I noticed you mentioned it above, but my response to that is seriously this; We can either GIVE our opponents free objectives, such as our towers, dragon, baron, inhibitors VOLUNTARILY because you are split pushing and refuse to team fight, or we can ATTEMPT to challenge them in order to buy us more time by MAINTAINING those objectives. Should we give them free reign over our base? Should we slow them down? Should we just split up in different directions and ALL FREE FARM? That way we're at least getting a reward for our losses?

  • And then what makes the decision to make an attempt to defend objectives, so much worse? The fact that after the team dies by making that attempt, then the ADC goes in to try and challenge the 4 remaining opponents we didn't slay. I literally bash my own head on my table while I see this. It's like dude, we tried to buy you time for whatever the fuck it is that you thought was more important than destroying our opponents, no we didn't just lay down our lives for you, so that you could come back into the engagement ON YOUR OWN, to die and give them MORE FREE GOLD.

C: Support

Let's make offensive plays right off the bat. Shit, let me place myself in a position early on that I cannot escape from, and grant the enemy team a free kill because YOU (adc) didn't engage on it. Pssh, Niggah? You're intentionally feeding. Don't put yourself in a postion you can't escape from at level 1-2, are you crazy? No, you're just silver trash, that's whatsup. Be patient and wait for an opportunity, come on man. Now you're gonna go off and blame me and tell me it's my fault that I didn't engage with you and you died, and you fed the enemy team, and now we can't win our lane because you are LITERALLY walking off, going to a different lane to attempt to gank that lane, and continue feeding that lane, while I am 1v2 bot, and feed the enemy team, because i'm actually trying to CS under tower and getting skill shoted by long range nukes from Caitlyn and Velkoz and get shat on.

I'll finish the other 2 but I gotta go.

Even pros sometimes focus the tank. Its almost like a "sunk cost fallacy". The tank engages and even if people are smart about it and dont waste abilities the tank takes auto attack damage... oh look he is at 60%. We just need a bit more to burst him down... oh now he is at 20% time to ULT obviously ... GOT HIM!... oh wait we are all dead now.

Also for every stupid move someone makes on your team there is one made on the opposing team.
