so, i like to take summoner 14 over summoner 4 in a good chunk of match ups, ill explain why.

  • i can first blood any jungler who isnt going to invade me, so really only LeeSin Shaco can survive it in my elo (silver 3)
  • i can snowball quite hard with the first blood gold + the extra camps that come along with it.
  • the ignite gives me even more 1v1 pressure
  • it weakens the annoying heals a lot of junglers have.

the cons are basically just, if im behind, and it doesnt work out, its bad news.

  • less objectives
  • less escape
  • no flash ult (i dont like this one because it isnt eve remotely necessary in silver i can literally just w R their entire team eazy peasy)

It was brought to my attention i could be overestimating the value of ignite (albeit by an obnoxiously cocky gold v wannabe gosu dbag)

I completely understand and accept that flash would be incredibly better high end, where people actually react to the eye pop up. but this low? what do you think?

Flash just puts you in better situations ultimately.

I know a lot of shacos that run ignite/smite stricly

yeah flash kill flash escape flash smite is standard stuff.

but in my head, if i wreck this other jungler, objectives wont be a problem.

Its up to your playstyle. Nobody said you HAVE to take flash.

I dont think you should take flash on eve, i think shes fine with ignite imo

I play her a lot in Ranked and the early game pressure form ignite is nice but in silver queues I find most games transitioning into late game. I think the flash would be better because you can't depend on your team to take the initiative to force an early lead into a win. If you can make ignite work though thats cool too but flash is better 9/10 IMO.

yeah no i cant make any team win. i think my winrate with zac dropped from 84% to like 40% and my eve went from 75% to probably 35% now. despite me playing generally quite well.

i think im about to become a master yi main, ill either win the game for us or lose the game, at least it will be on me.

from 100 lp to 0 lp. just lost because our voli never saved his q for galio ult, despite everyone telling him to. silver in a nutshell.
