So the ranked ladder.....
So over time I have realized a few things about ranked.
You need to focus more on yourself, and your play.
Not so much on feeding team-mates, and salty chat logs.
But mostly, you need to nothing but try-hard ranked all day every day.
No matter how well you play, there are so many factors, that you are likely to still have a 50% win-rate, and go nowhere.
So the key is not only to carry super fucking hard, but do it for a few hundred games.
I personally don't like this, but it is what it is.
I personally think I belong in gold on my main account.
It would be nice if the system said, "yeah look at your CS, KDA, and general play. Lets just promote you to gold!"
However I must prove it, and climb like everyone else, right?
Now here is where it gets really stupid.
I end up placed against guys in the same boat.
Guys who CLEARLY should not be in a silver 4 game, yet either because of feeding teams, or not enough time put in, they are here with me.
Now think about that.... Even if we are head and shoulders above the crowd, only one of us can win.
Again, in the LOOOOOOOONG run, if everyone was a machine, and played thousands of games, it would all work itself out, and people would be where they belong on the ladder.
In the short term, it just feels like shit.
A funny analogy I just though of.
A fast food restaurant has two young employees who are outstanding, and have interest in moving up the ladder.
A management position opens up.
Both employees are given a series of tests, because only one can be promoted.
The one who is NOT promoted, would likely be made an assistant manager, and continue to climb in seniority.
THIS SYSTEM lol, would be like, "sorry John, Susan got the promotion, therefor we are gonna have to demote you to cleaning the parking lot. Here is a garbage bag."
