How Much HP Is In One Health Bar Hash? Say Your Character Has 4 Hashes. How Many HP is That?

Is one hash always 100 hitpoints? Always 50 hitpoints? Does it scale?

Reason I ask is I can never seem to finish off players always leaving like 25-100 health and it doesn't make sense to me that players with almost no health can take a complete spell cycle from my mages and still live!

I did a million internet searches and found nothing!
