Surrendering In Ranked = People Can Vote To Ban You From Ranked For 2 Weeks.

Let's all admit it. People surrendering in Ranked has got to be the most counter-intuitive, unnsportsman-like conduct in the history of LOL. If you dont have the temerity to stick it through and try to come back after going down a 2-1 ratio in kills at only the 10 minute mark, you have no business playing Ranked, and wasting 45 minutes of everyone else's time.

Speaking of which, Riot needs to find a way for people to save thrown games in Ranked. Period.

Surrendering is an option for people to avoid unneeded amounts of stress and wasted time when a game is gone. Yes some games can be brought back but that doesn't mean every lost game can.

Also if a game was thrown why should it be saved? The game saving a team from losing after making a mistake that lost them the game in the first place destroys the competitive aspect and is so damn pointless.

Another easy way to put it is this. 4 people are required to surrender. That means if 4 people have agreed that they believe this game is over it means that YOU are the one wasting THEIR time by not surrendering and dragging out a game that your team has given up on winning.

While I agree with the idea behind it, considering the amount of trolls we have this is going to be abused.

Innocent player doesn't know he's teamed up with 4-man premade that's trolling him, ignorantly votes to surrender, bam he's banned for 2 weeks.

As an alternative advice, I'd say ppl give up easily simply because they don't care enough to try and win a losing match. The reward for winning and consequence for losing is just too insignificant for them to bother. Hence, we need to actually make it worthwhile. Something like increasing your lp gained/lost based on your champion grade, for example, though that might make greedy ppl act more selfish instead of being team player.

Only noobs think surrendering in ranked is bad. Most of the time it is used to avoid getting double digit deaths because the enemy team is fed too much to fail, but sucks at ending.

Agree with the comments here. We can't build a game for a perfect world. We're building a game for the world we have. You're asking people to troll with no Surrender option. It's already pretty bad.

There needs to be conditions of surrender in ranked. If someone's going in 1v4 and coming out alive with a quadra kill for example. And they should have to be that drastic. It's because it's RANKED. If you want to surrender a game because your team gave up first blood, play normals.
