when you thought it was time to nerf Darius back in season 3, why didn't you nerf his numbers instead of taking away his identity?

The full reset wasn't his identity. It didn't define who he was as a champion. A reset on his ult to be a 'finisher' champion was part of his identity, which they kept intact with a reset if it actually klled them.

The full reset wasn't his identity. His identity is being able to recast his ult whenever he gets a kill with it, which he can still do.

darius had an identity he was just a bruiser who competed only damage , thats little of an identity
