Oh boy, oh boy! New Meta!? Since ADC can go everywhere now, how about having support go everywhere too?

I've mentioned this before but the smite ability should be re-implemented so jg exp of a camp is split among all nearby champions on your team with smite. Double jg should be a viable option.

Wow didnt you played back in the day when bot swapped with top, so one bot lane was top the other bot and the toplaners went double jungeling? That was incredibely boring.

Please dont ask for double jungle

I feel like today it would be difficult to do. It wouldn't be easy to get an adc snowballing and you'd have to have a more frontline-focused team since your bot lane will need a traditional top lane champion to be able to survive in a 1v2 and not get too far behind.

you said you wanted a duo jungle meta. And i mentioned an example of why it is a bad idea

i cant move wtf2 votes

No, I don't want a "duo jg meta". I just want the option to be viable. I'd like it to be competitive to the traditional 1 top, 1 mid, 1 jg, 2 bot. I don't want it to be better than it though.

Kaeblen1 votes

asking for something to be viable is not the same as asking for it to be meta, or even common.

Why would you want jg exp to be split? That just puts you further behind the enemy jg who's getting solo xp

i cant move wtf1 votes

You'd be clearing twice as fast and would have unique gank opportunities not possible with a solo jg.

C9 Squeeky 1 votes

You'd be underleveled and starving each other, making it harder for both to hit both level and item completion. Good ward placements will prevent those unique gank opportunities.

You also have a solo laner in bot getting solo exp. The question isn't whether it would be viable but whether it would be too disruptive for players. If you can't see why it could be strong I can't really help you.

C9 Squeeky 1 votes

The solo laner bot would get all-in or even dove. They would get zoned off the wave and won't be able to farm, further putting your team behind. Your idea would hurt 3 of the 5 players. You clearly aren't thinking of the trade-offs and how it can be punished.

Then if it's so bad what would be the harm in making jg camp exp shared for all nearby teammates that have smite?

C9 Squeeky 1 votes

So you are saying you want supports to take Smite and help the jg clear faster while getting exp? Ok but that would mean they are not taking exh, heal or ign because flash is too valuable to not take. That would still put your solo bot laner at a disadvantage (See: zoning & all ins). Why would you want your jg to get ahead at the expense of your ADC, who is more item-reliant than any other role? They need to be strong enough to bust tanks, esp. in this tank meta.

Cool so you'd be fine if jg camp exp is shared among all teammates taking smite? I thought it might be too strong but if you think its horrible that's irrelevant to me.

Why do you want this to be a thing? For what purpose

Why do you want this to not to be a thing and downvote all my comments? Do you not like people that have different opinions from yours?

You want me to answer a question but you refuse to answer mine? The burden is on you to prove why this should be implemented. I gave you all the reasons why it wouldn't be viable, even if it was in the game. You want change for the sake of change with no real meaning?

Why does a support need exp from the jg, and why does the jg need help with clear other than lvl 1 leash? Riot should just buff their dmg vs monsters if their clear speed is bad, unless you really want double smite for neutral objectives like drake/baron but then that leaves you weaker for 5v5 teamfights. You're still leaving your botlane out to dry to fend for herself. Then they will cry "AFK support!"

After a few levels and some items, they'll be able to clear fast enough and healthily enough. Why do you feel exp should be shared/granted by all smite users and why do you want a 2nd smite? The time between camp respawn is longer than previous seasons where it might've been viable but it simply isn't anymore.

Why does he want this to be viable? Simply put because there is no reason it shouldn't be.

The game should boast various strategies such as but not limited to:

Double Jungle, Double Mid Lane, Triple Bot(possibly even Top) Lane, Double Top, and the current 1-1-1-2.

No one is saying to get rid of the "standard" all we are asking is that other options be viable.

In the video linked below you can see a guide to double jungle.

Custom Games :D

Kaeblen1 votes

It's viable without that.

one jungler starts red, one blue.

they clear, double gank mid, and than have their choice of going (together) to top, bot, or invade.

i cant move wtf1 votes

Yes, it's possible but it's clunky. In my experience, what ends up happening is when the game plays out where the only thing left to do is farm your own jg, you can't help each other clear faster because the champion with the better clear will usually get the last hits along with all the gold and exp and one of you will get hopelessly under-leveled. If at least the exp was shared then a kind of "jg support" could emerge similar to how bot lane divvies up the responsibilities.

Kaeblen1 votes

the first thing I think of with sharing jg xp is the level 1 leash.

you don't want to share xp with the laner that leashed for you.

also, the double jungle strategy is pretty solidly in the "high risk, high reward" area. It depends on successful ganks, and invading the enemy jungle.

i cant move wtf1 votes

That wouldn't make sense though. If another person leashing you has smite then they're likely playing double jg and sharing exp would be fine or they'd be starting on the opposite side of the jg and getting a leash from top if they didn't want to share.

Kaeblen1 votes

you mean that the xp would only be split between the champions who used smite on the camp, and have nothing to do with proximity, or who auto-attacked it?

That's kindof clunky, and counter intuitive. I mean, right now its based (I think) just off of the last hit. That's simple, easy to understand, and easy to code. having it based off of smite, and then having the 'smiting' effect xp from other monsters in the camp besides the one smote? I'm not so sure about that.

i cant move wtf1 votes

No, exp shared between all allied champions within proximity that have smite.

Yeah it's pretty dumb that Ezreal jg is a thing when Graves Kindred are actually designed for jg but are shit.
