Black cleaver on vi

Why aren't people building that much black cleaver on vi lately ? is it not a great item on her anymore ? or are the other core items just better on her (sterak's gage , Youmuu's Ghostblade )

I go black cleaver.. Not youmoos though. I like tank vi and the damage built in is enough

well it's bad to build 3 damage items next to the jungle item (for me sterak is more of a damage item) and what boots do you usually go with ? why not item 3156 instead of item 3102 ? cuz i build item 3111 + that's enough mr vs even 3ap enemies

... just out of curiousity, does the devourer clone and apply black cleaver? Cause damn that armor break so quick...

No. The armor shred of The Black Cleaver is not an on-hit effect, but an on-physical-damage effect. Since the Phantom Hit deals magic damage, it doesn't proc it, but if you have an on-hit physical damage effect, like the one of Blade of the Ruined King, it should work.

I hear you either rush tri-force or black cleaver first on vi. I kinda always get tri-force but cleaver is really strong

because she already has armor reduction in her kit, and getting item 3078 item 3053 is more important due to the synergy with her e.

BC is a must if you aren't doing too well. Get trinity instead if you're owning hard. It's always been like this since her release. Trinity is too expensive anyways.

so i decided to try this build : item 1400 item 3078 item 3071 item 3053 item 3102 item 3009 and damn this shit is broken i oneshoted almost everyone on the enemy team with only the q aa e combo and i got caught in a 2v5 and somehow walked away with 1/4hp but i still think i should add item 3742 but not sure what to replace (trinity and bc are a must buy for me)
